Mmm, I wouldn't say that spoils anything. I've written really elaborate stories with extensive backgrounds too, and that sounds like the setup for a very extensive history. Judging by your prologue, though, you've got a long story ahead of you. It's almost comparable to Feral Twilight, wherein my main character Jay Christie only happened to become wrapped up in a terrifying conflict between the "old gods" from Ronac's mythology and the "new gods" from Sinnoh's creation myth (the prospect being that Otulp, a phantom wolf, considers Arceus an imposter deity seeking dominance over all life, while he in turn seeks to enforce his reign over everything as well). I could never get the plot going in full, though... :/

Any particular theology there? The best legendaries tie some kind of religious symbolism into their existence (i.e. Palkia and Dialga were gods in ancient Sinnoh. Likewise, Ho-oh was considered somewhat of a deity too). I've always found that sort symbolism plays very well into fanfics, such as the case of my Fakemon Otulp and his sisters who were consider the "God of Memories" by the indigenous peoples of my Ronac Region.

Yes, I did! That's a very good descriptive/narrative tactic. I've even gone so far as to describe my legendaries like that in my old fanfics (leaving an air of mystery to them to entice people to read on). Little tricks like that will keep people coming back to read, I assure you that.

Yep, no rush. It'll just be a light proofread.

Need a proofreader, or are you good? I'll take a moment to look it over for minor errors and the like, but I promise not to go overboard and tear it apart like I used to. I've actually made it a point to stop being overly thorough.

That's good. Wish I could say the same, but I put Feral Twilight and Biohazard away for good...

Yeah, Lickilicky and Tangrowth were kind of a waste... >.> I'm not too fond of Magmortar or Electivire either, but at least they're useful. Rhyperior was different to me because it wasn't so blatantly made just as a filler. It's a terrifying wall to be put up against if you know how to format its EVs and Moveset correctly.

Aye, sorry, but I have to disagree. Any Pokémon that evolves from a previous gen Pokémon can be portrayed as one from the previous region. That's at least the justification for it in the HG/SS remakes, and the PWT in Black/White 2. Then again, I've always been more into the later gens than the initial installments (even though I technically started in Gen 2). Ultimately, it's your call, though. I just wanted to put forth some ideas.

Thanks. It's my OC Seraph Furlong as a member of the Thief class from Fire Emblem Awakening. The person who drew it's amazing.

Mmm, a little constructive criticism: make Gengar into Mega Gengar, drop the three starters Mega Evos unless you aren't working with the regular games' battle mechanics that prohibit more than one Mega Evolution per battle (in which case keep them), and give Blue Rhyperior over Rhydon (Rhyperior is technically slower, iirc, but the power and defense is worth the tradeoff; I've screwed countless people over with it via wifi, even more so with Assault Vest) unless you're trying to keep him within beatable parameters (which it kind of sounds like in retrospect). Of course, that's just my insight. I'm not a hack maker/programmer, so I don't know how hard it is to switch things out like that. If it's more work than it's worth, don't even bother.

No problem. Also, thanks, those pics weren't easy to draw.

I like that idea for your game actually. The Elite Four was always cumbersome to fight over and over again each game without any kind of change up. I mean, the only games that actually had a change were the Black and White games, and that was only because you had to beat N and Ghetsis to beat the game. I've heard tale that some people have made it so that you're required to beat both the champ and your in-game rival in some hacks (somewhat of a throwback to the RBY set-up where the /real/ champion was actually your rival, whom just beat Lance before you arrived). I've always thought there needed to be more challenge to the endgame for Pokémon, or at very least gym leaders should've had FULL teams throughout the game instead of just two or three (maybe four-to-six late game like in DPPl) same with the Elite Four and Champion.
