I apologise for the horrible delay once again, I found myself largely without internet and I simply refused to write to you from my phone where I could not possibly give you the time and effort you require - nay, deserve.

But now that I'm back in the world of the internets, let us begin! I actually forgot Willa Holland existed until I saw her recently on a rerun of Gossip Girl. I don't watch that religiously like I did The OC and she wasn't on it for very long, but I was actually surprised at how easily she could play a crazy party animal runway model. Seems more like Mischa Barton's area of expertise

Poor Mischa though... She just can't get work anymore. She'll be the girl who used to look a bit like the one who played Marissa on The OC before you know it.

I have no idea what avatar I was using at the time... but when I'm next on my laptop I will be sure to use my magics to find out! It'll bug me now too lol. I don't think it was Chelsea Handler, she seems like she was more recent than 2 years ago. Perhaps I was still a Raichu!

I think my favourite part of that whole Brand speech was "you wouldn't kick her out of bed for eating your crisps, I shouldn't imagine" lmao. Also I saw Julia Stiles just recently! She had a supporting gig in Silver Linings Playbook, the movie for which Jennifer Lawrence won her first of what will be many Academy Awards :D

OK other recommendations for what will be out nowish... The Hunger Games: Catching Fire was amazing, I've seen it 7 times at the cinema now lol. But you have to have seen the first one to understand it. Also Saving Mr Banks was very heartwarming and entertaining and your own Emma Thompson did a great job at playing the woman who wrote Mary Poppins!

I swear to God I replied to you last night! Aaaaa the tricks your mind plays on you when you stay up until 5am watching Smallville.

Don't cry for me, Argentina. I'm here now.

Was the February afternoon when we met across a crowded forum actually frosty? Do you remember this for certain? I'm fairly certain it was cloudy but not cold here because February is in Summer and this is Australia where it's never really cold. We're closer to Satan, you see.

I like to think of rejection as a reminder that the human race was not intelligently designed by me. If it had been, everybody would just love me. Then I could choose to reject them at will and make them feel like fools for ever believing they could land someone like me. Yes, that sounds right.

And I don't know all of your answers, this is why I wanted you to post! I wanted to see how similar we were on the big important worldly stuff that is present no matter what country you live in. This way if we differed on any important matters I could say things like "lets not let it come between us" and feel like a really big person even though on the inside I'll know that I'm right and you and everybody else is wrong .

SUPPORT both Jennifer Lawrence and Amy Adams, but especially Jennifer Lawrence. I love her so much. She's the be all and end all of life. American Hustle was a great movie, I thought. Long and talky for sure, but I like talky in movies. J-Law (yes, I'm not lying, people actually call her that) won the Golden Globe for that movie just yesterday I was very excited! She's on her way to a second Oscar in two years!

I can't believe my little brother is already 19 years old! You're growing up so fast! Actually, would you believe we've been friends for almost two years now? February 19, 2012 was the date of our first VMs to one another. That's crazy man.

Yeah, I do admire his decency and he was very apologetic, but I'm still incredibly bitter about the world collectively friend zoning me. I don't take rejection well, this is one of my flaws haha. It's been like 3 guys and suddenly it's "the world". I'm on my way to being one of those people who breaks up with someone and then starts detesting the entirety of their gender.

Speaking of which, it doesn't help that as I type this message, both of my housemates are deeply entrenched in their own texting conversations with their respective boys of interest. The ones that didn't abandon them for greener pastures even though I'm most definitely the cream of this particular three-man crop. Bah! Dating.

"Lump" wasn't a shot at my physicality lol, it just sorta came out of my fingertips. No idea why, maybe it's a subconscious thing . But in any case you must let me know what to berate the universe about because I don't want to go in blind. What are the mean girls doing to my Barrels now

Also I want you to post in this thread! It shall be interesting I feel!

I hope you know you made me feel a crushing sense of guilt and sadness with your "Missing Andy" VM. It's as though you're my younger brother and I've gone off to college and he's sending me sad emails about my abandonment just when mother and father's marriage began to crumble beneath his feet.

My iPad plays very nicely with my other Apple contraptions. They were made for each other! Isn't there a beautiful - even romantic - harmony in all of that? People can rag on Apple all they like, but my goodness at least they have their romantic harmony.

Yours wasn't the only Christmas wish for companionship that went ungranted . But you know, at least you have your experiences and heartbreaks for when the next girl comes along. My problem is different all together. I've just had a third consecutive potential love interest go and dash my hopes before anything could even happen. He texted me the other night saying that he had recently become involved with somebody and didn't want to lead me on, but I am a truly amazing person and he would still love to be friends if I didn't hate him.

I'm beginning to see a pattern.

Now, I know I'm a good friend. I'm told this all the time. I've lost more than one potential love interest now because everybody wants so badly to be my friend. But what if once - just once - somebody gave me a shot to try my hand at being more than a friend? What if this apparently aromantic, sexless lump of a person could actually fulfil a function beyond friendship? It seems a novel concept, certainly, but maybe a trial run is in order. They do clinical trials for potential cancer cures, surely stranger things have happened than my ability to find somebody who wants me to do more than help them move house.

Anyway, that's my whinge for the day that suddenly just happened from my fingers of their own volition from a chat about Christmas presents. I've regained control of them now

I was just coming to talk to you! I'm sorry I've been super busy, only just had time to make a few posts around but I like to give you more time and thought. You'll have me within 48 hours I promise :D

Happy new year my love <3

Holy **** I'm so glad you messaged me again, I thought I was still waiting on one from you but you sent it like five days ago! Terrible person, just awful. I had a stack of time to reply on Christmas Day too, that's ridiculous.

Your parents really needn't be worried about the time you spend here - any man that can write a letter so blatantly pretending to be them yet so accurately capturing the essence of every parent with a son that age while also finding use for words such as "blithely", "penitence" and "misgivings" has clearly already attained all the life skills necessary for a profitable future and can therefore spend as much time as he likes on such a website and simply fall into the life he chooses when he is ready for it with very little effort and even less forethought. The fact that he will then be hated by everybody in a similar manner with which they hate celebrities who reply "oh just running around after the kids" when asked how they keep so fit is really no cause for concern.

We do have Haribo! I've seen the cola bottles with the sour powder and the gummy bears, but I've never seen Tangfastics! Maybe it's just one of those things that we're supposed to have that we never quite got, like cans of spray cheese (which I for one am still waiting for and let me tell you it cannot get here fast enough) and the different flavours of Mountain Dew.

I should let you know, before you post a VM on your own wall and get stuck in an infinite time-loop as a minister in the 1972 House of Lords, that this is the first message I've sent you using my brand new iPad that I didn't even get for Christmas and just bought for myself two days beforehand :D still excited!

What did you get for Christmas? Did Santa bring you something useful like a phone with a camera in it or a Christmas tree made entirely of Tangfastics?

YES I'M BLUE AGAIN! :D I get knocked down but I get up again, you're never gonna keep me down etc.

You only VMed me two days ago and by the time I finally get a chance to sit down and reply to you, you're already near the bottom of the second page of my VMs! I'm very popular these days, you should feel intimidated and a little uncomfortable around me.

While very few people actually die on purpose, I fully accept your very Christmassy reason for your absence, provided you have a note from your parents to verify. If you can have them actually use the words "wotsits and nonsense" then that would be much appreciated. Though speaking of dying, the most hilarious thing happened the other day. Some little girl got hit by a car and died on her way to school. I guess the funny part is that several lives were ruined and their Christmases for life will be marred by the December death of their daughter...

That one was a bit of a risk, I'll admit. Moving right along.

What the hell are Tangfastics? What is Nuts magazine? Is this a gay porn publication? England is much more liberal on this kind of thing but to be able to use a gift card to buy such a thing just screams of the country not following the teachings of the baby Jesus.

How could I ever be on the same level as you? It makes me feel dirty just to think of it. No, this won't do. Not at all.

Seriously though, four tiers above you? I think you mean four years above you because in no way am I even close to the tier where we'd find your kneecaps! Anyway I've taken more than a day off already and apparently that was the problem however it does allow me to do things like this:

Pfft family website. My dream for this site is for it to become one of those ones where kids come to talk about the truth and don't tell their parents for fear of them taking away their computer privileges

Christmas shopping has been a major success this year though - it's been what I call The Year of the Gift Card. I've had so little time during store opening hours that I've gotten my sister a Jack Daniels gift pack from work and a $50 gift card, I got Mum a massager thing that she texted me and told me to get her and a $50 gift card. For my Dad I went in with my Mum and sister on a lap around his favourite race track with one of his favourite race car drivers. For my housemater Luke I got Sabrina The Teenage Witch Seasons 1-6 (but not 7 because it's the most unwatchable piece of **** you'll ever experience - and they were real cheap because my sister works at the DVD store now lol), The 2014 Guinness Book of Records and a Superman onesie.

I'm really stuck on what to get my boss though. She's so awesome but I'm gonna end up giving her a gift card from lack of ideas lol

OK I'm calm and better now lol.

I would do Taylor Swift for your birthday (maybe) but as far as I remember you won't even tell me when that is!

It's been a hectic week between work and Christmas shopping and more work and ack.I feel like I'm tired all the time and as much as I love Christmas I'm looking forward to being able to relax when it's over

I'm fine I'm fine I just have been without Internet and ... well actually no I'm not OK I just came back today and got fired and didn't realise how much this place meant to me until that happened. :/

Sorry I was so looking forward to talking to you but I just can't sorta make myself be conversational right now lol. I'll VM you tomorrow after I've slept

I was actually just logging on to message you! I am finally free! Free of that wretched place that expected me to manage it. I worked a total of 10 hours on top of my rostered ones, and today was my first day back at my regular store and by God was it the best day I've had at work in ages.

And NO I will never change my theme to that horrible *****! I have changed my theme now though, aren't I pretty?

We Are Never x70 Getting Back Together actually came on the radio at work yesterday and I ran down the back of the store and changed the station, which I'm not even allowed to do. But screw it y'all I be the assistant manager I do what I want. Thug life.

And don't you ever scare me like that again, making me think you were blond (THOUGH HAHAHAHA YOUR GRAMMATICAL IGNORANCE SHOWS ONCE AGAIN - BLOND IS FOR BOYS AND BLONDE IS FOR GIRLS )

Nah I'm just being nitpicky, disregard that you're probably smarter than me in all honesty haha. I will restore your credentials now that I know you're not blond. I don't think I could bear to speak to someone with blond hair. I'm like Hitler that way, but the background on my Swastika is yellow rather than red.

AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA THAT SAMUEL L JACKSON THING MIGHT JUST BE THE BEST THING I'VE EVER WATCHED IN MY ENTIRE LIFE.

I think you'll find that by 'adverb' you mean 'adjective'. I was describing you, not your actions. If I were to say "He walked Barrelly down the street" then that would be an adverb, but you did not walk Barrelly. You did not even walk. You just sat here and typed at me about grammar. Barrelly is just what you are.

And it's absolutely hilarious that you mention Subway meatball subs because I had one on the Day In Question and I'm about 95% sure that that's what gave me my food poisoning too! The weirdest thing too, I'm well and truly better now but ever since I was sick the thought of eating McDonalds makes me feel sick to my stomach. I don't know why; this was not McDonalds' fault, I didn't even go near one that day or the day before, but I can no longer stomach the thought. Best way to cure an addiction without going through the nasty withdrawal symptoms and cravings, in my opinion.

WAIT WAIT WAIT HOLD UP. Are you blond? Do you have blond hair? THIS IS NOT SOMETHING I KNEW ABOUT YOU AND MY VISION OF YOU HAS BEEN SHATTERED FOREVER AND EVER. All this time I was imagining Darren Criss and in fact I was talking to Chord Overstreet, Neil Patrick Harris or similar.

Ugh that self-righteous bag of bones Taylor Swift... now to be fair, I used to not mind her. Back when she was doing her little hillbilly love stories about baby just say yes and swinging her guitar around her pretty golden curls in manner of modern hippie Shirley Temple, she was fine. But then she turned into a complete biyatch. Ever since she released "We Are Never Ever x70 Getting Back Together" I've hated her guts. Despite being a really annoying and grating song in general, if you really listen to it, it's just so mean-spirited and nothing else on the album is any different. *steps off soapbox*

Guessing what Will Smith would turn into was not a quiz, it was an imaginative exercise! Any answer you gave would have been correct, so no inadequacy for you sir!

OK so I went and found that interview on YouTube and that's pretty awesome haha. Russell Brand is hilarious, and I would follow him in any revolution he proposes, ill advised or not. It says a lot about me that if somebody is funny enough I would follow them to the end of the earth. Perhaps this is why I'm such a fan of Obama. He and his wife have personality in spades. I don't know if they're doing the country any good, but if Michelle Obama keeps dancing with Ellen on the Ellen DeGeneres Show, I'll keep supporting them til the bitter end

I WILL NOT LEAVE YOU AGAIN! It only took me four days to reply to this instead of six, so progress is definitely being made! I apologise in advance if you don't hear much from me over the next week or so though; I'm going to be managing a liquor store again until next Monday, so a lot of my time will be taken up with such icky activities

Barrels my Barrely friend! I'm so sorry it's taken me so long to get back to you... I've had *drumroll* FOOD POISONING! (to be read in voice of Excited Oprah Winfrey, Ellen DeGeneres or similar).

So that's been a barrel of laughs (pun not intended) as I'm sure you can imagine. But now I'm back and better than ever or whatever that phrase is.

I personally see us more like Hugh Jackman and his lesbian wife. There is no sex in that marriage but Hugh Jackman can sing very well and they'll be together until the very end. I wouldn't wish being Taylor Swift on anyone.

I love my present, that has to be the best card ever! 100 points extra if you can think of who Will Smith would evolve into - HAHAHA JUST READ THE MOVE DESCRIPTIONS BEST THING EVER!

Russell Brand is very well known in Australia! I love him, he's awesome and hilarious but I can see why Katy Perry divorced him too - I imagine he'd be very difficult to live with, he seems like he'd be "on" all the time and he'd always act the way you see him act in movies and interviews and whatnot and after a while it'd just get very hard to take lol.

    Calling for revolution? Please explain.

    THAT WAS BRILLIANT!

Oh this is why I love you. This, right here.

Had you not been able to finish the song I would have of course stopped loving you and cast you out into the night like an elderly person with an infectious disease or a screaming baby, but you did it! And now we have a complete song! This is the most rewarding day I've had in some time. IN SOME TIME.

    Biography
I was born. Then I grew up. But that wasn’t fun, so I grew back down again and started catching Pokémon.

Most people are decent - and the more friends you make, the better life gets. So if you'd like to say hi, go ahead and do that thing! ;)
    Interests
I like creating. Writing, drawing, vidding, programming… you name it, there’s a good chance I’ve failed abysmally at it. (Probably had fun though.)

In general? Philosophising about stuff I’ll never know, reading Brian Michael Bendis, ordering things I have no need of from Amazon, arting around in Photoshop and watching old Munsters episodes. Not all at the same time.
    Location
    Three thousand miles from home
    Gender
    Male ♂
    Occupation
    Moron
    Nature

    Favorite Pokémon
Snorlax. Since forever. I used to dream about getting a big ol’ Snorlax-shaped beanbag.

…Who am I kidding? I *still* dream about that.
