    I adore those games for the same reasons. Now I'm depressed that there hasn't been a new installment lately.

    Hahaha, it does get pretty similar to Metroid at that point, doesn't it? And it's an interesting link since the two games are considered close relatives with similar developers behind them (I was actually expecting them to have similar playstyles for the 3D games too). I liked those levels, too. And yeah, I think I can relate to that. XD
