Hey. Thanks for the preview. I love how your using bright tiles. I'm currently working on some (bright tiles) myself behind the scenes (to steal your phrase lol).
How come there is a bit of a boarder around the first screenshot?
Warp forest looks neat. Is that a little teleport square just under the player?
And then the last image- great idea with those picture puzzles. From what I can make out, it looks like a cool fakemon.

You should post those screens in the screenshot thread. Build up some hype for the rebirth.

Haha, I really wasn't. I also pretended to be a male and had way better grammar than when I first started on this account. I didn't exactly socialize 24/7 then. So yeah, I wasn't even saying I was who I am. XD

I was going through some old threads by Claire and just happened to see someone who posted in Blue's congrats thread was actually on. So... hi XD

Ah, that old Hidden Depths demo. I freaking hated that thing. I didn't want to release it as a short tech demo. I had planned on it being a larger exhibition of all the features I'd included, but I was unfortunately pushed into releasing a short, pretty unpolished, uninspiring thing instead. Then I moved houses and computers, then moved houses and computers again, and kinda lost my full Hidden Depths project folder, so I ended up just giving up on it. Although, after starting my new project, I was browsing through all my different game resource folders and I came across my full Hidden Depths folder, with all of the work I had done. Seriously, you've no idea how pleased I was. :P I ended up saving a lot of the maps and minigames from there to import into my new game.

I made the jump to RMXP a while ago, just kinda messing around with it really. I really love the added variety you get with tilesets, but I'm not a big fan of the resolution size. I also seriously hate RGSS (I still use event commands). I think the inclusion, and ease of distribution, of RGSS scripts in RMXP has killed a big part of amateur RPG making. Back in the days of RM2K/3, everybody made their own games with their own effort and code. Nowadays, most games on RMXP are just a collection of other peoples' scripts. And frigging starter kits are the lowest of the low. I just hate them with a passion.

And if you ever need any help or advice in getting to grips with modding the place, just let me know. I'm on most days again now. Truth be told, it's not too difficult a job. With those kinds of threads, I think I used to just answer the question and then link them to the help thread for future reference, then locked the thread. That way, they get their answer and you get to keep your area relatively spam free.
