You sure? I thought it was the same for me but then I went to a specialist because I knew it wasn't acne and I was way too flushed for it to be blemishes. Anyways the metrocream is actually just a light antibiotic and mild anti inflammatory.. so it gets rid of any bacteria in your pores and everything; if anything it would just help to clear the skin. No side effects :3
I would recommend aloe vera.. only it burns my skin because I am really sensitive. However it may help to calm the redness for you :3

That one looks vaguely familiar. I should be doing Calculus next semester though, so it'll probably get stuck in my brain then!

The Quadratic Formula is the one formula that I can always remember and I don't have to dig through my brain in order to find it.

The last time I took Algebra II was Sophomore Year, though I suppose I retook it during the summer (stupid CLM exam). Then I learned things like Quadratic Formula, Completing the Square, some things you should have learned in Algebra I, and some other things. If I was at home I could skim through my old math work, but I'm currently at the College with only my Pre-Cal work at hand. And true, quite true.

Hmm... I'm not too sure how to explain it. I suppose you can say it's a mix between what you learn in Algebra II, and the basics that you might explore in Calculus? It could also be known as Algebra III. In many cases, it's actually Algebra and Trigonometry in the same course, though my current Pre-Cal isn't going to really be touching on Trig due to time. If you have 'Pre-Algebra' you could also think of it like that.

    The US is weird.

It's the Calculus before the Calculus? idk. It's between College Algebra/Algebra II and Calculus. Sometimes it's mixed in with Trigonometry.

Oh I remember that now. Totally forgot about that one. Obviously you should do one of the Powerpuff Girls if you haven't already. :P Alternatively, you could be Mandark from Dexter's Lab. Apparently he bears a resemblance to his VA's character in WarGames.

Yeah I get ya :3 Though I never said Horsham was in London haha~ But still, an hour away to me is such a short distance if you're only going to be going once in every little while; cause like, for example, in my first year of Uni I had to commute an hour and a half each way with the bus every weekday~ (From my house in the GreaterTorontoArea to Oakville) So I guess I am used to it..

*_* Damnit.. I was hoping you were gonna say "Sky has better customer service" because I've heard some people say Talktalk's customer service is a bit crappy.. but I've heard BT is even worse! I don't think I get Virgin in that area (I looked it up online) so I am a bit at a loss haha :3 Oh well, I will probably ask neighbours when I'm there and try and figure it out. Thanks for the heads up!

@_@ Yeah, the summer was chilly compared to the summers in Toronto.. so I was just curious on the winters.. I don't know how much fleece and heavy jackets I should bring over.. :3

So... it's been a while! But it'll be worth it when you see evidence of my visit to London's first cat cafe! Similar to the ones in Japan, Lady Dinah's Cat Emporium opened up on March 1 of this year in London (about 15 minutes from my house)... and it's already fully booked up until June! Deservedly so, as well. Home to about 10 rescue kitties - all adorable - it's a supremely relaxing environment where you can read a good book (on offer included The Art of War by Sun Tzu, Long Day's Journey Into...

The following may not be suitable to all ages.
The following is suitable for people aged 13 or over.

A bit of background is necessary for this one, as it's my favourite in this burgeoning 'series' of blog posts and a bit of context goes a long way.

At the end of last month, in and around Thanksgiving, I went to the US for just over a week to visit some friends out there (one in New York who is from there originally, the other in Virginia who's doing an internship at NATO for 6 months). I'm lucky enough to have been to NYC a number of times, so have done...

A pretty interesting article comparing Nintendo's recent fortunes to those of Walt Disney Animation Studios in the early 1980s.

If you like either of those things (whether recent or from the early 1980s), I suggest checking out this article.

Let me know what you think in the comments!

(I haven't totally left this place forever, just yet. :D)

And the sequel, released yesterday.
