ok. Have you read Thomas Paine? Or any other political thinker, regardless of leaning? Isn't it weird when they predict something hundreds of years ago, but its still applicable today? Some are wrong such as Thomas Malthus and David Ricardo, but it never ceases to amaze me.

Pretty much. But a thought just occurred to me- if our political ideologies are totally different with a different end goal, but the only commonality is that we are anarchists, is it still in-fighting? I think it might be and idk if they are different enough to not be.

    Oh, haha.

Nope, still white for me. Try using The Johto Elite style , since that's the one I'm using. I just want to be sure it's not bugging out on my end, haha.

Which one? I really dont feel like reading the mess of posts in the Democracy one lol. Thats why I stopped posting there and will just continue the discussion with another member via VM.

Well the issue with the in-fighting is that we refuse to cooperate we each other because we believe the other aren't anarchists. I personally think this is stupid because all kinds of anarchy would either lead to another state or Voluntaryism. Because how else will the communists force people who want to leave their commune to stay without a governing body?

CD-R's are only like $20 for 100 copies and I'd end up selling each for about $5 but that would be an EP. Beat leases generally cost $10-$60 depending how many promotions you want (I'd have to write an essay explaining how leases and exclusive rights work lol). For the most basic lease I can sell 2,000 copies with 1 promotion (itunes, mixtape, or anything profitable). I know a dude that knows where to get graphic covers, and cases for a cheap price but I need a graphic designer to do a cover and disc cover first which can be expensive.

Fasho, especially with the law on my ass about paying them the 3k I owe them. I got it planned out how to make money off shows I just need to purchase leases so I don't get sued lol.

True. I'm not moving fast enough tbh tho. I still haven't done a show yet. I should get on that.

Sorta. It's an independent label in Chicago so I can go my own speed but I might get out of it cause half the rappers are 4CH (four corner hustlers) lol. I'm just doing my own thing but will use them for promotions.

What kind of accountability? Branches of government, limited time in office, how?

Under Stalin, there was no democracy lol. There was a sort of democracy thing when there was a provisional government after Czar Nicholas I (would later be executed by Lenin) abdicated, but a competing government (i forget what it was called) limited the heck out of the provisional government, and then the Bolsheviks took over and there was a civil war. After the civil war, it was pretty much a totalitarian state with no democratic ideals. Before all of this, there was a Duma, but it was controlled by the wealthy and was shut down by Nicholas I, but there was no communism then.

The only anarchism that appeals to me is Voluntaryism. There is actually a huge rivalry sort of thing between Anarcho-Communists and Voluntaryists, and both parties claim the other aren't true anarchists. Its literally this huge debate, and then Anarcho-Mutualists prefer the commies for some reason. Im pretty sure all anarchists except Anarcho-Individualists hate Voluntaryists- mostly because we always catch them on property. Plus they claim they are the true anarchists because Voluntaryism is more recent and Anarcho-Communism is much older. Of course you would know which side I'm on lol.

What do you mean socialism is not as easy to abuse as communism? What kind of communism, because depending on the type, you are either really right or potentially right. Anarcho-Communism (Marx and Engel's end game) I dont think would be as easy to abuse, but Bolshevik communism, Leninism, Stalinism, whatever would be very easy to abuse, and history affirms this. Socialism, if run by the common person, wouldnt be as easy to abuse as it would be an entirely government run socialism.

You probably have more insight on this- why do a lot of "pure" socialists and communists dislike Sanders? I have seen this trend, but I do not understand why. I can understand he isn't as "pure" as them, but his policies are steps towards their goals. The only thing I think of is his stance on gun control and his voting record regarding the middle east.

Interesting. Most modern "socialists" dont even follow the real definition, so at least you actually believe in what you believe in lol. I agree, socialism is the transitional period as you call it, but to obtain true communism, you would have to do it veryyyyy slowly, otherwise you will piss off the middle and upper classes.

Nuke everyone and you solve all conflict.

anyways I'm releasing new tracks soon. Got them recorded just need them mixed.

About Me

  • About gimmepie
    Hi whoever is reading this

I'm gimmepie (obviously not my actual name, but I prefer not to use that on PC). I'm 19 years old, have high-funtioning autism and am an Australian. Currently I am studying Primary School Education at university and I work somewhat casually as a ballroom dance coach at my studio.

This is my third year now as a member of PC and I thoroughly enjoy it here. You can primarily find me typing up a storm in the Roleplay Corner or quite often sharing my love of music in the song-rating thread in Forum Games but I tend to pop up in all kinds of places.

I like to think I'm a friendly guy, albeit stubborn and opinionated, so if you feel like talking just drop me a VM or PM and I'll probably reply as soon as I see it.

PC Supporter since 2014 (Currently Crystal Tier)
Moderator of the Roleplay Theatre since June 2015
Moderator of the Round Table since September 2015

Most RPs GM'd at once: Six (I'm pretty sure that's a record but I dunno)
My interests are pretty varied and they keep me sane when I'm supposed to be studying.

As I said before I teach at my local ballroom studio, I also train there myself as I am also a competitor. Dancing is one of the most important parts of my life.

I also love music, a very wide range of it too. I listen to everything from Rock to rap to country. My favourite band is Linkin Park but there are many other artists I love (far too many to list here so VM me if you're curious).

Pokemon has been a part of my life since I was about six. My first game was Pokemon Stadium for the N64 and I watched the anime religiously. These days I'm still in love with the franchise and I buy the main series games whenever they come out. I also sometimes battle on PCs Showdown server. These days I'm not as fond of the anime, but I haven't seen X/Y yet so I don't know.

I am a big lover of improvisational and stand-up comedy. I am arguably the biggest fan of Whose Line Is It Anyway in my country and I spend hours watching it and stand-up shows. I often consider giving stand-up a shot, but I struggle to be funny on cue and I don't have a very good stage presence.

I'm not much of a gamer, but I do enjoy a bit of gaming sometimes. My favourite game is The Last of Us but Starcraft 2 is a close second.

I am an anime lover and, unlike Western shows with which I am very picky about genre, I will watch almost any genre. My favourite anime of all time is Higurashi no Naku Koro ni.

Review Aloo - Star Wars: The Force Awakens

Hello readers, and welcome to the first movie review in my Aloo series. Today we'll be looking at the "recent" cinematic sensation and third highest grossing film of all time, Star Wars: The Force Awakens.

The first instalment in the franchises sequel trilogy, set thirty years after the events of Return of the Jedi, follows a group of central characters - Rey (a scavenger from Jakku), Fin (a former Stormtrooper),

Top Ten Anime Series

A while back I did another entry like this, but since then I've watched several more anime and my preferences have changed somewhat. Since I've been watching a lot of anime lately, I figure now would be a great time to redo my top ten list. Some of these shows were on the previous list, but many were not. I'm glad that I've expanded my horizons even further however, because some of these shows are truly amazing and I cannot believe I hadn't seen them yet. Onwards!

Writing this entry was actually a spontaneous decision, but sometimes a small thought pops into your head and rapidly grows until it possesses you. When that happens you tend to feel a burning desire to talk about it. Interestingly enough, it's desires that I want to talk about.

I feel like all of us have hidden desires - goals and aspirations that we rarely make mention of, if ever. More often than not, these relate to things we're passionate about and just

The Wonder Trade All-Stars

It's been far too long since I've done a blog entry, and this has given me something moderately interesting to write about, so why not? The rules to my self-imposed challenge are simple, pick six pokemon from wonder trade and use

Weekly Music Mince

It's the end of the week again which means it's time for another Music Mince, this time flavoured with some actual thought about each song according to the original format I used.

I've been listening to a lot of music this past week so it was really hard to narrow things down to ten choices, but here they are. Enjoy!

Number One
Song: Not Strong Enough
Artist: Apocalyptica ft. Brent Smith
