    Well, I think it depends. I personally think that the 'normal' Pokémon like Rattata and Growlithe and the like are named after what they're saying, but Pokémon who don't actually say their names (Lugia, Zapdos, Articuno, etc.) would be named by people.

    This is all me guessing of course, but it makes more sense to me that the Pokémon were named after what they said, rather than only saying the name they were given, considering they're much more intelligent than, say, a dog. Majority of them, at least.

    Hey! The name is Claire (obviously), not sure why everyone keeps their first name a secret... Anyway...

    Studying to one day become a...well...who knows... I'm always trying to improve my writing abilities. I know, I have atrocious grammar. (It's a curse.) I'm more of an idea person, than one who can actually follow through on them.
