Hey Gogo, I figured my little problem out, actually. Pal00 is loaded for the player OW first, that was the issue and caused the pokeball not to load properly until you enter the menu and go back etc.
I'll just use another pal. Thanks for guiding me in the right direction haha. Bothered you enough

Well, I use it too. Weird. I mean I would just insert a new palette which is identical to 00 but I want to do all new OW palettes at once, so yeah.
Anyways I'll update my post in the thread. Thanks a lot for your time!

Hmm, according to this here http://www.pokecommunity.com/showthread.php?t=336722
the correct pal register for slot 00 is 10010000, which I already had. Changing it to 00010000 didn't solve the problem.

Thanks man! Figured it would be either that or the pal offset haha. I'll try to get it working.

So 00010000 instead of 10010000? And where exactly is the "pal register byte" located, somewhere near the sprite offset? Sorry, haven't really dealt with this exact stuff before and I couldn't find any documentation on it here. Appreciate your help a lot

I'm not really seeing any other palette slot option besides the one that's already set to 00.

Hmm, sorry to bother you but the palette slot is already changed, so I'm a bit confused. I'm using NSE classic, so could you maybe explain what you meant again? Thanks in advance.

Well what do you mean? Cause I'm not searching for the location I'm trying to find the image in vram and search for it.

Ok so using vram to search for the tile's offset isnt working. I also used the map viewer to help find where the tiles were stored a little quicker, but I've searched for just about all the bytes it shows. Could you explain how you do it?
