    I love the little ':^)' emoticon you use. There's something about it in combination with you avatar that's really amusing.

    The information I want to deliver to the compiler is that (*saveblock) is a pointer to "trainer structure", so I use 2 of "*".

    That's a pity (I'm currently not using your template because I really know nothing about the python so I just use a normal makefile).
    I just thought of a very "minor" problem:
    I tried to define offsets like what is said in your tutorial: (this is just an example)
    struct playtime
    {
    u16 hour;
    u8 min;
    u8 sec;
    u8 secm;
    };

    struct trainer
    {
    u8 name[8];
    u8 gender;
    u8 unknown;
    u16 TID;
    u16 SID;
    struct playtime playtime_struct;
    u8 unknown2;
    u16 option;
    };
    struct trainer **saveblock2 = (struct trainer**)0x300500C;
    //...... Here codes which handle the pointer

    If I'm using asm, the real code which handles the structure should be:
    ldr rX, =0x300500c
    ldr rX, [rX]
    @.....

    But if I use C to generate the code, it will be:
    ldr r0, =0x8800010 @just example
    ldr r0, [r0]
    ldr r0, [r0]
    (at 0x8800010 it should be the pointer 0C 50 00 03)

    As you can see, it doesn't make any mistake, but it's very inefficient.

    fbi, I'm trying to do c hacking today, but a problem is that I can't control the relative location of the compiled arrays, functions.
    If I want a specific function to be placed at the top of the compiled code, what should i do?
    Another thing is that is the "F5" function of IDA reliable and useful?

    I just have one thing to say "Dam", after thinking by myself i got what u write and yes i agree whit u about an third list whit the numbers that appear on the áreas in order to remove the 0 indexs. So what comes next is how we should do it? In order to make it efeciently. (this will also remove the float problem).
