Also, non-isometric wise, how should I approach mapping the inside of a laboratory/bio-dome combo?

Well, I'm pretty sure you based it off oak's sprite it's pretty much ok.

Well replacing those sprites are pretty much hard as they use L277 palletes something like that. ry some of the tuts here on PC as I haven't tried to replace any of those sprites yet.

Sprite work would go in the Art and Design section. Your hack, even if it is just a concept still, can get its own Progressing Hacks thread.

You can always as people to get crit for your work by messaging them. You can showcase your Maps here. http://www.pokecommunity.com/showthread.php?t=226711

And you can showcase your sprites here. http://www.pokecommunity.com/showthread.php?t=275403

I think you can showcase some of your work in the rom hacking discussions. Or for easy things just make a thread in the progressing hacks thread even if you have done small progress with the hack. Just make sure you have 4 screenshots showcasing your hack. :3

Don't worry 'bout Jambo, he has done far more than his fair share of research and hard work when it comes to rom hacking and he gets a lot of **** from people who don't understand. He can come off as condescending, but he has earned it.

By the way, to reply to a VM, you have to leave it on the other persons profile, or in the View Conversation window which there is a link to at the bottom, right hand corner of this message.

    Welcome to PC!

Yeah. I have a little bit of programming experience as I noted. I'm working on making a new region (with new pokemon/gym leaders, etc) based off of some old Fakemon art I'm really fond of. So far, what I've done so far is screw around with the starter slots (replacing them with the new starters) in YAPE/PEP as a test, but I've been trying to figure out how to add new Pokemon past #386, or maybe $649, but probably won't since Jambo's hack isn't meant for rom hacks yet.

Sorry for the near-hour delay, pretty busy between replaying Pokemon LeafGreen on my DS, screwing around with rom hacking, google surfing, and talking with a friend.

Congratulations, you deduced from the bolded text above the forum that the Game Development forum was not where you discuss ROM Ha- Wait...
