- » I hold a special place in my heart for people who I am close to. Although I may or may not clearly show it, I honestly appreciate every relationship I’ve been in.
» I am genuinely sweet as I am complex. On one hand, I am very protective, devoted, and patient. I am deeply concerned with the welfare of others. I have a great deal of insight into different people and situations. On the other hand, I prefer being withdrawn. By being both involved yet detached, I can be difficult to understand. Sometimes my intentions appear unclear. Sometimes I am perceived as a cold person. In reality, I gravitate toward the cause, not for any personal glory or power.
» I am what my name means: dedicated. I have a “stick to it” attitude. I’m not afraid of hard work. I put much effort towards something I believe in. My usual fault is being lazy or overworked.
» I’m very empathetic. I don’t know why but my eyes become teary upon seeing depressing news, especially when watching the local news. I become upset even in the slightest thought of another person getting hurt.
» I’m very sensitive to conflict. I do my best at avoiding hurting anyone. I tend to internalize conflict to the point where I can cause my own health problems.
» Although I do consider myself to be open-minded, I do hold strict moral values. I place a tremendous amount of faith into my intuition and instincts. I’m quite stubborn. If I don’t feel something is right, I cannot function properly.
» I take commitment seriously. I also value honesty, integrity, loyalty, and diligence.
» I am quite a private and secretive person. I rarely share personal events with others. I hold back a part of myself because I am afraid of being hurt or rejected.
» I seem like quite the social butterfly. On the contrary, I am introverted. I can only be emotionally intimate with a few long-term friends and family. I’m pretty quiet. I’ll say enough just to remind everyone that I’m alive but mainly, I remain invisible.
» I’m very sarcastic. I love poking fun at people. However, I am quick to become overly sensitive when someone jokes about me. I sometimes take comments far too seriously.
» Much to my chagrin, I have held grudges on people. Much to your delight, I have held more grudges offline than online.
» I am rarely content with myself. I can always find something to improve in myself and in the world around me. I believe in constant growth.
» I’m not as organized as I would like to be. I have a consistently messy room and desk. I am quite random in my topics too. I don’t know how I hopped from messy to random though.
» I know that I am not perfect. I am willing to accept criticism. However, when people say that I’m doing something poorly, I really feel hurt. I much rather prefer hearing how I could improve something, not just hearing that something is not up to their standards.
» A teacher once told me that I am “intense” sooo. Well. Okay, I do have high degree of standards for my own understanding and accomplishments. When I was in 5th grade, I was offered to be a Patrol Officer. Basically, I would wear a cool badge and whatnot while helping maintain afternoon car ride pick-ups. My mother told me to decline the offer. So I did. I turned down a great opportunity to be involved in my school. Despite later experiencing many stressful days and sleepless nights, I would never turned down similar offers.
» Up until the 8th grade, I was in the Honors program. At the same time, I served as a National Junior Honor Student member. From 9th to 12th grade, I was enrolled in the academically renowned yet rigorous International Baccalaureate program. In addition, I enrolled in various Advanced Placement classes. Furthermore, I've contributed at least 150 hours of volunteer service around my community. From University onwards, I am in an Honors program again. I received a very generous handful of scholarships that I honestly did not even apply for. No college essay required (despite preparing several practice drafts). So yes, English teacher that handed me by first B (and I cried!), I amiably admit that I am intense.
» I hope my English teacher never finds me here, ya? Well, I have a deep hatred for English class. The whole “your interpretation doesn’t fit my interpretation so here ya go, have a bad grade” pretty much left me distraught for years. I didn’t feel comfortable writing until later in my life.
» For the record, I also hate history class. I never understand how memorizing the years such and such happen will help me later in life.
» My favorite classes would be math, science, and psychology. Right now, I am majoring in Accounting. Number crunching, oh yeahhh.
» I love animals, graphics, video games, music, the beach, traveling, and shopping. My favorite video games series would be Pokemon and Sonic (I have a majority of their non-spinoff games).
» My favorite foods would be pizza, shrimp, steak, mushrooms, cheesecake, cherries, pizza, strawberries, garlic bread, watermelon, key lime pie, I could go on and on…. I absolutely cannot stand scrambled eggs, mustard, chili, and anything remotely spicy. I don’t even want a pinch of pepper on my food. Oh yeah, I love ranch and bleu cheese dressing.
» For those with my Staff Ego emblem, perhaps you would like to know the concept behind it. When I was 6 years old, my family dog had a litter of puppies. The puppies were born on Halloween. The puppies looked nearly identical (brown chow-chow breed, just like their mom) except for one: a Rottweiler! I immediately claimed this unique puppy as my own. I named her Kesandra (or Cassandra, bless my spelling!). I liked to bring her inside the house (my parents didn’t like this). I have one picture of her… I was holding Kesandra during Christmas. Anyway, she died around January. Now, keep in mind that I was 6. My puppy became ill (I still don’t know how, to this day) and my parents took her to the vet. That was the last time I saw her. When I later found out that she passed away, I vowed to become a Veterinarian when I grew up. I couldn’t stand knowing that a vet “failed” to help my puppy. As I became older and actually researched the field, I lost interest. As shallow as this reasoning is, I didn’t quite like how low a Veterinarian’s salary is (I am still an animal lover, though goshhh). Rest in peace, sweet puppy. Those with my emblem notice that the icon features a Rottweiler puppy. These members have significantly changed my life in some way, for better or for worse. These individuals help shape me into who I am today. They may have done something out of their way just for me, or left me with (bitter)sweet emotions. One might even consider how I have have “adopted” them just to fill the hole in my heart the day I lost my first own puppy.

Although I've had a rather unpleasant attitude about college lately (well, I'm just going through many sad emotions in 2013 ;__;), I'm happy to get back my grades from exams I took this week. :))
