What I'm most confused about is why change Terra [from the spanish word for earth/land] to a name with Gorgian roots when Wesley isnt even from Georgia? Same goes for Marina. If you're going to go through with this those 4 names should remain the way they are.
Secondly, it's unnecessary, not "unnecassary".

And to be honest, Esmeralda is NOT a good name. I asked a few name changers for opinions and they all said
that it is not good to name a Gym Leader after a city. Also, the name "Esmeralda" has NOTHING to do with her Gym's type.
Originally, my name changer said it is best to name her "Florence",
but I edited the name a little, and named her "Floria" instead.
Well, at least THAT had something to do with her Gym's type. (Grass)
"Rayner" is not a good name either. "Rayo" is Spanish.
This hack is in Portuguese. "Raio" is the correct word for thunderbolt
in Portuguese. By the way, "Voltige" sounds a lot better than "Rayner".
Remember, I'm translating this hack into ENGLISH. Did you know that
the English version of the official games had a lot of name changes?
Well, I'm doing the same thing to LP. "Voltige" sounds more like English.
By the way, who said that the names for the Gym Leaders HAVE TO sound like a name?
Also, the reason on why I'm changing Terra and Marina to Mitsis and Vatten is because I hate using common names. Terra is my favorite KH character,
while Marina (Based on Crystal in the manga) is my favorite PKMN anime character.
One last thing: Wesley is from Brazil. And that country speaks Portuguese. Not Spanish. The Portuguese language is far from being similar to the Spanish language. Got that memorized? -

I've progressed further than what you can see in the thread, but right now I'm taking a break from Lilac. I'm planning to start working on it again in a few days, so I'm not giving up just yet ;D
