I play in maps without grass... =D Haven't played it for a long time, so I can't really say anything, but the maps I recall didn't have grass.

    Oh yeah: http://album.smogon.com/archive/JasonSmogon.html

Just to point out that when I say "viable," I mean it can maybe hurt something if you're lucky with this awesome lol factor that never gets old. It outspeeds most leads though which is just lol.

Oh, imagine Fail Scarf Gar wasting its Hypnosis on LUVDISC. haha

What's so funny IMO is that it actually is viable. Luvdisc does SCREAM "Set Up Bait!!!!" so Luvdisc would really take anything besides Poisons and Steels by surprise. Of course, it dies really fast and it is a disgrace to pokemon, but man I just HAVE to use that for the comedy value.

And yes I'm going to really mess up Bronzong HP FIRE GO GO GO...Choice Specs HP Fire would probably fail to 3HKO lol.

I didn't use Smogon's set because the "Enoyer" lacked Rain Dance and Surf and the "Sweeper"...LOL

So it was kind of a fusion of the two sets. Smogon's analysis is gold though. Gold.

BTW that picture rocks my socks off. I can just see those Sylvan Learning Center ads or whatever lol

Heh, you didn't use Smogon's sets.

Hehe, that said I would love to try Luvdisc out as a lead. It would get downed by Sleep leads like Gengar, but the comedy factor is priceless. I actually want to try an confuhax a Bronzong, should be fun =D

Or, you were playing against opponents that sucked that hard.

Either that, or they used the wrong moves, since they couldn't see clearly past the tears caused by their own laughter.

Yes I did. But my computer of course decided it didn't like the idea of me playing on the official server so it started messing up.

Seriously though, Luvdisc isn't killed by every common lead except failgar. Sweet Kiss at the very least annoys Bronzong, and Rain Dance lets it Toxic Tyranitar and Hippowdon (though the latter rarely stays in).

Luvdisc can actually raise hell. It's a REALLY bad pokemon, but Toxic combinedwith the comedy value and you have one awesome lead

You actually used that on shoddy. *Hands Medal*

I just tested my new Luvdisc lead on shoddy:

    Luvdisc @ Focus Sash
    Trait: Swift Swim
    EVs: 4 HP / 252 Spd / 252 SAtk
    Timid Nature (+Spd, -Atk)
    - Rain Dance
    - Surf
    - Sweet Kiss
    - Toxic

So yeah, people think Luvdisc is just set-up bait for their DDtar ot Gyarados or whatever, when Luvdisc hits them with a swift Toxic!

I tried it on lala with success and a few people on the official server (since my computer is being nice again).

I plan on putting it on a good team so I can laugh. Even if I lose I will lose in style.

What you need to is copypasta everythingyou type, if it's too long. Anything thats a paragragh or more, I copy, just in case.

You know, you really don't see Roserade as much as you should. If it wasn't for my love of all things Vileplume (who also needs more useage), I'd have it on my team. Oh, and because I like to limit my grass types per team. Yeah, two is good. Not three.

Yeah, this is it for me. Five years ago today, I joined PC. Now my time here is coming to a close a half a decade later.

I won't go too in-depth here besides to say that my battling skills (and interest, to some degree) have eroded to the point where they couldn't be salvaged without time and effort that I can no longer muster. Furthermore, it just hasn't been all that fun for several years now for a ton of different reasons I do not wish wish to list, and having fun is the point...

This blog won't be very long. I obviously haven't posted many of these. Yeah, school can be a pain when you have a lot of homework and not a lot of energy.

Anyway, I originally thought that the second iteration of Stage 3 (to use Smogon's wording) would just be Manaphy and the already-OU Latias...and that's how it was going to be. But now Garchomp is being added into the test according to Jumpman, I would assume due to the close 44-41 vote in favor of it being Uber.

I figured I'd have some fun and predict the Stage 3 voting results. You can post some too if you'd like. I'll probably be wrong on about all of these, but I thought I'd have some fun so why not?

Shaymin-S - Uber

I think this will be voted Uber, actually. I think people are afraid of hax and afraid of Skymin's power and Speed. I actually don't blame them--it's a pretty effective Pokemon. I just wish...

They have finally been released, and you can find them here. I'm glad they're out, especially since I contributed to them this time around :3

The biggest "shocker" to me was Blissey at number 14 (if you include the Rotom formes, which I will do for this whole entry). How the mighty have fallen. Blissey is probably the best defensive Pokémon in the game, and it's not even close to the top ten. As a user of Blissey, my guess is that Blissey being vulnerable to Trick as well...

I know, long time, no see, right? People often complain about how S&M is dead, and while there isn't much we can do about that (after all, we cannot control who decides to frequent in the section), I figured that I might as well start using this again to maybe, possibly start some discussion. Honestly, I am still a bit puzzled by the failure of the Metagame Discussion Thread, and the best conclusion I can come to is that it failed because it was too bland or boring in some way. Hopefully I can...
