Seed Flare is a viable move. In fact, it's a very good one. Of course, if the PP Pconcerns you, Grass Knot it is, but you do get the 40% chance to lower SP.Def. If that's not impressive...I mean, wow. Shame it doesn't have Serene Grace.

I actually just did the work myself Go Netbattle damage calc!

Anyways, 216 EVs gets me 308 SAtk, which does 94%-100% (which with SS will KO Gyarados).

But I also ran some calcs that found that D-E with no Def EVs and max HP will actually survive a DDed Waterfall from Gyarados, and by a healthy margin (as in SS won't kill it).

I dunno, the changes to my team have still caused more problem's than they helped with...my only weaks originally were:

Grassers
MixMence

And I believe that's it. You all said forretress was a dead weight, so what beats both of those...? It also has to be able to beat what forretress did, like Weavile I'm looking at since Hippowdon as a Weavile counter is lol. Then again, Gyarados will do for Weavile, so never mind that. Assuming I actually keep Celebi, how would Cresselia alone sound?

I could run Reflect/Rest/Ice Beam/Psychic. I'd have MixApe backup and I'd beat MixMence. Dunno about grassers though >.>

I do have a solution though! Shaymin can Aromatherapy and Counter Gyarados, only Pursuit doesn't destroy it! So the final lineup could be Hippowdon/Snorlax/Spiritomb/Cresselia/Gyarados/Shaymin? I don't see any weaknesses.

Well...it's essential to what my EVs will be, lol.

I just like Knock Off as it does more than one job via preventing a CB Pursuit and basically cripples anything else that wants to switch in on me. I could use Reflect, but i find Knock off much more useful.

I havent run numbers on how much sp.att ohko's ape and gyara, ill get it done later i think.

Wouldn't Reflect be better for the job than Knock Off though?

Also, what is the amount of SAtk you need to guarantee OHKOs on Mixape with Psychic and Gyarados with Tbolt?

I was thinking Focus Blast on Deoxys used in conjunction with Psychic, to beat Pursuit-ers. Like Weavile and T-Tar. I also use Knock Off for that reason alone, to Knock Off Choice bands so they cant OHKO me with pursuit.

I sometimes use 220 HP / 252 SP.ATT / 36 SPEED@Modest, that does a nice job too.
