Ah, I see. Quite a few people told me that it was good, but I generally suck at formulating strategies, lol. To be honest, I haven't been playing Yu-Gi-Oh as much as before, but I still am looking out for any powercreep that can screw over my decks. And yeah, I NEVER buy packs. It's especially ridiculous when only less than 10 cards are relevant to me in every new set. Also, I normally test cards online (via YGOPro) before I actually buy them, haha.

Lol, how do those amiibos actually work? I thought it was impossible for an AI to learn how to play like a human. Also, this article made me cry:
    http://www.siliconera.com/2014/11/26/story-fox-amiibo-nearly-won-super-smash-bros-tournament/?onswipe_redirect=no&oswrr=1

I agree with you completely. In all honesty, I actually never had the luxury of taking a music class, so I'm a bit too ignorant for my own good. However, that ignorance can't stop me from loving music, so that's why I do what I do. Also, I gotta admit that I suck at FL Studio (high learning curve LOL). I only know like, the absolute basics that anyone can figure out. Most people use VST plugins or whatever, but since I'm a noob, I abuse soundfonts. XD

    About this:
    Quote:
That's a weird way to put it XD I feel like if you actually remix them, then there's a certain degree of passion I can't measure up to lol
Yeah, I did word it weirdly, so I should clarify. xD I said "almost" because my pet peeve about improper endings might cause me to like them a bit less than you, lol. Additionally, I have a severely limited pool of games, so I don't know that many VGMs. Most of my passion generally applies to the unpopular games, because the popular ones are bound to get good remixes, haha.

I generally stray towards the OSTs of shows (like Pokémon or 5D's), because they take less effort to track down, and they cover all sorts of situational genres (like sad moments, climatic moments, etc.). Also, the proper endings. =D

*Oh, looks like I have a 30 second sample to share. I'm showing it to you now because I put that song on very low priority. Why? Well, I made my ideal intro and all, but the rest of the song is too much of a pain to work with. xD

(Oh, and I like your grayscale colors. =P)

It seems as though it's mainly the sewer related poison Pokemon that have the least thought put into them, aha. Then again, floating ice cream cones are a pretty close runner up I'd say.

Thanks, I'm just about over the worst of it luckily. ^^

Haha, that's great to hear, man! How's MTG? I've never tried it for myself due to its seemingly high learning curve, but as a semi-competitive Yu-Gi-Oh player I definitely respect the game.
As for mine, it was pretty decent. EBOR and I pretty much spent all day at a relative's house, but we did get to play a bit of Smash, lol.

Thank you for the kind words, man. It really means a lot to me, and I feel more encouraged now, haha.

Regarding the ending, that was like a must have for me, lol. You see, I probably adore VGMs almost as much as you do, but my most giant pet peeve is that a majority of them lack a proper ending (like, they just loop and fade out).

Originally, I only planned to remaster the song (not remix) and add a proper ending to it, but every time I almost finished, I was like: "Hey, I could do more with this!" And whenever I added more stuff, it felt like I was pulling off a huge combo string in YGO, so you could say I had a lot of fun with it. The only reason the project came to an abrupt end was because of last minute spring break homework. xDDD

As much as I want to pursue this as a career, my parents won't let me. However, I now feel motivated to keep this up a side-hobby, regardless of my career.
To be honest, I have at least 35 unfinished remixes/remasters that I quit working on, haha. However, I only spent a few hours at max on them, in comparison to the entire week I spent on "Five Stars." Most of them are from incredibly unpopular games, but I feel like I need to represent those games somehow, haha.

Anyways, there are one or two unfinished pieces that I would kinda like some advice on, so I think I'll share them with you later when I get the chance. Thanks again, bro!

*Side note: I just realized that if I do get back into remixes, I might have a valid reason to use my PC blog. xD

Whazzup, Sil? How was your Christmas?

I just dug out an incomplete remix that I spent all of my last spring break working on. Unfortunately, I ran out of passion before I could finish it, so... eheheh. When you get the time, would you mind checking it out? Your critique is pretty important, haha.

Here's the original song that I based it off of, and here's my remix. (I'd recommend listening to the original version first.)

*While my remix may be 4 minutes long, I actually wrote out all of the beats, so there are no loops/repeats involved (meaning, all 4 of those minutes actually count). The biggest issue I noticed is that the drumroll sounds too unclean (never got around fixing it, haha). If you have any suggestions, feel free to let me know!

Of course there's the odd uncreative design *coughtrubbishcough* but thats to be expected. xD

Unfortunately I was ill over Christmas with the flu, but I'm over the worst of it now I think. How was your Christmas?

Oh, nice. I think I have around 400-ish right now, but that's after i traded my pokemon over from Y. But yeah, I can't imagine how tough it'll be to catch 'em all ten years down the line. I also wonder how much creativity will be put into the pokemon at that point too. xD

Also, Merry Christmas man. Hope you have a good day.

    Gotcha!

*facepalm* Dude, I can't believe we missed some key information in cheese's signature. You see those little Pokémon that he's raising? Click on one of them. Apparently, his profile on there says that he was alive in 2012 under the name of "shadow cheese," lololol.

I'm in Central Florida, like right by Orlando. xD

Man, you KNOW something is wrong when it's scorching hot this late in December. <_<

Aha, wow. So have many have you ended up raising? I've decided to try and finally caught them all (excluding events, of course) and that's been proving to be much more difficult than I originally thought.

I swear that once the sun goes down, the worst drivers become active. During winter, I'm scared to drive anywhere not because I don't trust my skills, but because I don't trust anyone else when driving. Just last night when I was on my way to a friend's house I was stuck behind a vehicle, and I could swear that the driver was under the influence of alcohol or something. He/She was swerving all over the road and stopping randomly.

To all the drivers of PC, be careful especially when...

Recently I've been ignoring my YouTube channel and Twitch account because I just... sorta lost interest I guess. However, a friend and I streamed Pokemon (some Multi Battle maison from X and Y), and despite having a max of like 6 viewers, I had a blast!

So I started up a let's play of Donkey Kong Country Returns on my YouTube channel! I'm challenging myself to upload a video once per day until the game is beaten. Here's hoping I can get in (YouTube channel and twitch account withheld...

Wow, last I knew I had to have 5,000 posts to be able to post a blog. I remember a few days ago I read that the post count was reduced, but I don't really care to find it in any FAQ or anything. Anyhow, I'm gonna have to find a use for this thing now. Maybe I can find a daily challenge thing? That would also help my activity here on PC (I'm currently on about once a week).

I can't say I haven't visited in a while though, because I've been on a lot more the past two weeks working on...
