I haven't been doing a lot lately, really. Just studying a lot and learning Polish. It's a fun but relatively difficult language. The words change depending on the grammatical case, so that's kind of confusing.

otherwise you'll have to declare local variables to hold the PostCode (varchar x)
and then the select is something like:
select @Customer=Customer, @Postcode=Postcode FROM dbo.CRMTable WHERE ...
then your insert is INSERT INTO dbo.CursorResults (Customer, Postcode) VALUES (@Customer, @Postcode)
if it works then the INSERT INTO (SELECT ...) will do it all in one go for you (no need for row count then)
