i definitely consider myself more of a spriter... i like doing the little small sprites and characters and so... as you could tell, it's more my specialty... i can give better crit and just create them easier and with more of a flow...

i still attempt a bit piece every now and then, but big works are not so much my thing...

Yeah, judges on PC are apparently not capable of being professional, and actually we all have our definition for the term professionalism. Judges all have their own preferences and tastes, so no one can be 100% unbiased. This is why we always need multiple judges for each contest, since the best way to make a relatively unbiased decision is to take the opinion from the majority. Anyway, you can never find an 100% perfect entry for a pixel art contest. We are comparing those imperfect artwork to each other, and the winners stand out because they are just better than the rest of entries.

And wow, I absolutely dig those artworks of AYAA. Cari Cambell seems to be the most talented artist among them(all her works were 1st place). Are you interested in participating in a pixel art contest like AYAA and Theamopolis. I remember you used to say you are still not good enough, but it won't hurt to try. I participated in science contests almost every year in high school. I never won before, but it was fun to become a part of the contests.

It is good to know that you are confident that you will be accepted to both schools you mentioned before, but yes, it won't hurt to give yourself more options. I understand what you mean by paranoid, and people are all paranoid to some degree. My grandmother believes she is constantly ill but indeed she is healthy, my aunt believes her husband is cheating on her whenever he talks to another lady. Even for me, well, I tend to check if I have everything needed in my bag for several times during the road to my classroom. I believe people are being paranoid because of obsessions, but I may be wrong.

So you will take SAT in September? Is this the first time? And how many times are you gonna take SAT? I don't think the first SAT will be much of a burden to you if you know you are gonna take it again, and you can relax a little bit and try to adjust to the questions asked on the test so you will be better prepared next time. I tend to do better on the test if I am less stressful, which might serve as the reason why I failed to do much better on the second/third test than the first. As for the application stuff, you apparently do not have to rush at this point. If you plan on an interview, be sure to express your unique personalities to the admission officer. You do not want them to regard you as an ordinary student, you wish to capture their attention.

And enjoy your 1st day as Vişne Tanrıça.

No, i never took any art classes in school... i kinda regret it... but every wednesday i went to the art studio and worked with the old art teacher Mr. Roete... he showed me a lot of neat tricks and little things about pensiling...

as for spriting, i have picked it up on my own, as a matter of fact, i've barely been spriting for over a year now!

Hmm... i get what you're saying...

    Emotion... I have an idea

i might try something based off this:

I'll make it more summer ish... somehow, maybe change it from bristol to daytona and add the ocean and the sun set in the background...

anyhow, what did you think of mine?

anatomy wise, she looks great! Shading wise... it's a bit choppy...

Anyhow, originally i shaded mine just how you are, with layer shading, but with the differences between the two colors, the distinctness just stood out too much... with the diveting, it gave a nice toned and blended look...

your layering looks nice, especially in the hair and the swim suit... but the skin's a bit distinct in color change... it definitely stands out though...

i like the pose, and the whole imagery of her holding the ball in front of the sun...

i just think the skin needs better work with the shading and the white is a bit off...

I can't wait to see the finished product with the background and all...

You see KageX closed up shop... it's a shame...

we sit here and sprite are butts off, and still, many people can't find a way to give a meaningful reply... if you have nothing good to say, don't say anything at all...

I'm not saying that i don't appreciate people's liking of my works, but they contribute nothing but a head ache to us when they post aimlessness...

anyhow, how's your July PAC entry going?

Or I will be, I finally gave in my two weeks notice. It went to much better than planned, my manager was excited that I was going to pursue freelance illustration!

I'm so excited about it, and I'm excited about my art classes. I wish I got more sleep last night! I'm tired so I can't really focus on writing my lessons that I want to.

:D And I need to make a blog layout.

I signed up to paint little kid faces at a wildlife center tomorrow. I was like "Yeah sounds like a good idea!" in class. Then when I get home and get into weekend mode it's just like "Why did I sign up for that? Man I don't want to."

The trick is that if I want to cancel I would have to call them on the telephone and speak and stuff.

I'm doing a lot better at saying No, and that's good for the social front. That might also be because it's 2AM now and I'm super tired.

But anyways, thursday nights we have Queers & Allies club and a lot of people go to IHOP afterwards (this is like 11pm). So I go with my friend and she asks if anyone needs a ride so you have three freshmen who want to go and they climb in the back seat. Horrah we get there, they sit somewhere else, and we eat.

So along the night...

Everyone should go and play on the server! It was a little boring when no one was on, and when more people got on it was a lot of fun! Just starting out, I can't give you the exact location....

but here!

If you can find it, you can have some! It's not really hidden. It's by the glass arena, and there's a stone path that connects mine and miakalina's house beside it....

Problem 82/114 for this week's homework

I know I'm lucky in the fact that I have to just take ONE math class in college that just rehashes all the math you learn in high school

Too much converting damn fractions.

My brain hurts, I ordered pizza so I think I'll just take a break for a moment....
