I understand what you were saying on pixel art. Artists have various styles and specialties, and sometimes it can be painstaking to match the theme of a pixel art contest if you have never tried doing artworks in the rules specified by the host. This is just like taking SAT, in which the best student in your school may not get the highest score if he/she is not used to the questions asked in the exam. Judges may have different standards, so it is even uncertain whether they will like your entries even if you are doing an excellent job. But you are right, an artist can be less adept at a technique and still create something greater.

You are kinda right, it is always better to make early preparation. I can see you are thrilled at the fact that you will be in college soon. I dunno if you have a detailed plan for your future in college, but most students are not even sure where they are heading to at your age. I decided my major just a few weeks ago, while some of my friends are still not sure how to spend the next three years in college yet. Some used to say it is wise to give yourself more time and choices, but overhesitating is not a good thing either. Anyway, your senior year in high school is going to be memorable, and I am sure you will enjoy it.

Well getting into a top national university was like a childhood dream to me, and it is really hard for me to give up this dream. I will still be planning my transfer application, but hopefully it is not gonna be as stressful as the time when I applied as a first year student. For Pkmn HOF, I'm glad to see people getting over the drama that could have killed my game in June. I don't think Spey is capable of causing chaos on PC anymore, especially after he returns from his last suspension on this forum. A few PC admins and mods seem to enjoy playing with him for some reason.
