    Hrm that's a good question! I believe if you mess with the routines, you could either remove the limiters, or branch somewhere and load a byte then lsl it and add whatever you want to it to get the cmp to work. I'd look at how the routines handle the nat dex limiters and construct something similar. Ideally it would be better to have no cmp but yeah!

    First thing's first, you'll want to check out Jambo's thread about editing the pokedex, it identifies a lot of the pointers necessary to extend the kanto dex. The other ones are located in the old research and development thread, identified by myself and Diegoisawesome. Just search for my name in that one and they should come up.
    And yes the table at 251FEE is the one that you'll need to do. From memory the actual Pokedex information (foot print, height, etc.) will still be that of the original Pokemon so you'll need to change that. By that I mean if you put Turtwig first, it will still probably have Bulbasaur's entry. So you just need to swap those around. The reason for that is that the dex slots aren't necessarily tied to the pokemon, but the table at 251FEE puts the pokemon's index number into the slots, which does mean they'll retain the numbers 01, 02, 03 even if its Turtwig, Grotle and Torterra. So for any pokemon that aren't in your hack just move them to the entries after your final one. So if you have 250. Just move any pokemon thats in the first 250 but not your regional dex to the corresponding slots of the pokemon you want in the regional dex but are outside of the 250. It requires a fair bit of shuffling but once you change all the limiters it should work perfectly. Someone may have mentioned a possible freeze that occurs if a Pokemon outside of the kanto dex learns a move as it evolves, though I haven't experienced it myself.

    I did change a few formatting things so that the links aren't coloured black, to maintain compatibility with PC's darker styles, and to make it more obvious that they are clickable links, and I removed the usernames as they're on the posts anyway and it may become inconsistent if and when certain users get name changes, as well as for simplicity's sake when adding to the index. I also made it so that the links don't go directly to the post but to the post's position in the thread so that any collateral information in replies / previous posts are in the user's view when going back to these posts.

    Normally things I start 'I wonder if...' can be solved with a quick search from the thread XD looking through the pages though there's so much that wouldn't be searchable - since it's so brief or lacks obvious key words XD so hopefully this list will be helpful.
