    Thanks, I also figured out how to change the level to, though not the way I want it. I don't remember the offset, but somewhere near it, there's an 05 byte. I changed it to 06, and I thought it would change it to Lv6, but it changed it to Lv16 O_o...

    EDIT: Just post your findings in the thread I guess.

    Also, have you noticed that Emerald is simply slower than Ruby and FireRed? If Ruby had a Battle Frontier, then I would make DarkViolet on Ruby. It's bugging me how "slow" Emerald is. Everything takes longer to load on Emerald, while Ruby is fast, and FireRed is kinda fast.

    RE: All those really picky changes. I'm going to go ahead and ignore all of them except the Route 46 marker, because I missed that. The others I've either already done (Dark Cave markers are there, for instance), or I think look fine as they are. Remember that we're not in the dark ages of GBC, so in my opinion, having Silver Cave one tile higher looks better.

    For the other thing, am I right in thinking that you need an extra line of tiles around the edge? If that's the case, I'll try to use existing tiles to fill the gap.

    What do you want me to do about Fuscia? Move it up?

    Hm, that's annoying. I guess ideally, you'd need to move it to the centre. Is that possible? I mean, I could try squashing it up a bit if not... :/

    I think I've made another tile doing that, which makes it 256. I think. So, that'll do, right?

    I think if I just try to reduce the ones that seem obvious, we can gradually work it down. For example, I've made some subtle changes here which might hopefully reduce the number by a good 20 or 30, but we'll have to see, I guess.



    Out of interest, is there a program you're feeding this through to work out the number? If so, is there somewhere I could get a hold of it?

    Ah, yeah, I knew there was a tricky one I needed to do. So, correct me if I'm wrong, but I need to try to make 52 of the 8x8 tiles on the map identical to another one, right?
