But it depends on the generation of fans. For some of the slightly younger fans, R/S is packed full of nostalgia, like it is for me.
Although like I said, I'm not biased towards it because of it. I just like it the best for the reasons you mentioned~ I too love all of the different nature areas. I wish Hoenn was real; I'd love to travel it!
What is your second favorite region? Mine is a tie between Johto and Unova, but...I think I might like Johto just a bit more. :3 -

Yep! The desert routes would be fun to see in 3D, too.
I really don't dislike any of the 3rd gen. pokemon. Apparently that's when everyone thinks the designs and games started to go downhill, but I couldn't disagree more. O.o -
Ah, Fortree is one of my favorites too. Now that city would be awesome to see in 3D. I think Dewford Island is actually pretty nice too, even though there's not much to it. Lilycove is another one of my favorites~
What are some of your other favorite 3rd gen. pokemon? As for me, it's Swampert, Gardevoir, Breloom, Aggron, Flygon, Wailord, and Kyogre. -
Neat! I like Altaria, I think it's so pretty. :3 Winona is awesome. She along with Flannery and Wallace are my favorite Hoenn gym leaders~ But my number one favorite Hoenn character has to be Steven Stone.
I know! Their battle music is awesome! And Archie's sprite is epic. I love the way he's standing. xD

Me too. Some of the 3rd gen. pokemon are my favorites. I also like Hoenn's gym leaders the best out of any other region. And yes, Teams Aqua and Magma, in my opinion, were some of the best and most unique villians in the series. And they kicked major butt in the manga! xD
I also like Hoenn's plot the best. I'm a weather fanatic, so of course I would be a sucker for it. -
Oh, no problem! Me too; I would be estatic if it was confirmed. R/S are very special to me since I grew up with them, so it'd be a bit like reliving my childhood. Haha. Plus, nothing to do with nostalgia, but I love everything Hoenn has to offer, from the soundtrack, to the characters.

So 2012 is believed to be one of the armageddon theories, when I say this, I mean one of the many armageddon theories that have come and gone in the past i.e the Y2K Bug was one of them yet, here we are.. 11 years past that date so why is this date so significant, what makes this date so special, I say nothing, it's just another day of another month of another year.
