    Yeah, I VM'd him when I initally moved the other thread. I think I'll let it stay in ROM Hacking for now, as there really isn't anywhere else it'd fit (except perhaps Computers & Technology, but even then that's more for discussions than resources).

    Is there a place in Game Dev where this belongs? If not I suppose it can stay.

    Hey! Just wanted to say I appreciate your reply in that thread. I read everything and I definitely agree with you on a good chunk of what you said. I don't really feel like I should continuously reply though, I'd rather have some more thoughtful posts like yours from MORE of the staff. Just wanted to thank you for taking the time to write it all. :)

    Hey, this is just to inform you I've moved this thread from Research & Development to Game Dev because it isn't ROM Hacking, but I'm not sure if Progressing Games is the best place for it but it seemed that way. Sorry if it isn't D:

    Fair enough - I'd just guess that PE kinda snowballed over time, and since it's the biggest name, of course it's become the default.

    I think Unity's a good program to use, for two big reasons: Primarily, my goal is also something more akin to the 2.5D generations(Diamond/Pearl/HG/SS and Black/White/B2/W2). Secondarily, I'd like to see a bit more diversity in publishing - Unity's got build options for just about everything these days, and there are a lot of times that the test builds for fangames seem not to really warrant downloading a whole build. (And personally I like browser-based implementation a bit better )

    Hey Maruno,
    I've been working on a Unity kit to mirror Pokemon Essentials' functionality. However, I was wondering if you had any recommendations on getting the community involved in its development, seeing as engines other than Essentials don't really get much attention since they get lumped in with scripts and tutorials.

    Hey bro, I'd been looking for this for a long time but I can't find the answer, so I decided to ask you... How can you change the pokemon essentials internal font, I want to change it to Arial && and for example change the color to the predeterminated menssages like in the choices ?

    Ah, my bad, I misunderstood what you meant by two separate scripts. But yeah, I've always been opening the editor via the folder, not the in-game debug menu, so that fixed the issue

    Sorry for the late response. But yeah, that's what I did before asking you actually, I changed all the "old" values to my new screen size(700x500) and nothing changed. Heck, I practically edited anything just to try and get something to change. But no dice.

    The script I'm editing is called PokemonAnimEditor, which I'm pretty sure is the one I'm looking for. I'm assuming the internal one is in PBAnimation.

    Hi Maruno, I had an essentials question I'm thinking only you could answer. So I was trying to expand the animation editor's work area to better fit my game's larger screen size. However any edits I make to AnimEditor script, don't affect the editor upon reboot. Is there something else I need to do? Thanks!

    Hey, I noticed in your examples on the Pokemon Essentials project, cut, surf, and such, don't require you to even have the TM, much less that a pokemon have it learned. What is the easiest way to make it so that the pokemon has to learn it first?

    Hey Maruno, since PokéCommunity is breaking some scripts, how about putting a pinned advertisement about the "Show Printable Version" feature or something like this in Scripts & Tutorials section?
