Yeah, I really like all of the characters....even that man-stealing girl Rachel Lee Cook plays. Everybody knows Jules and Shawn are meant to be together! :p Then, again, most of USA networks shows Have great characters. It kinda their thing. But Psych is the oldest show on there (except The ones who stopped airing, like Monk) so the characters had a lot of time to develop. I think Gus deserves more attention in the development department, he's almost the same as the Pilot episode. Oh, and the names of the episodes themselves are funny too, if you get the references (Mr. Yin Presents... Is a ref to an Alfred Hitchcock show of a similar name, and so forth) I'm really excited for the new season, theres a big cliffhanger at the end of the last one (I wont spoil it for you!) Psych is easily my favorite television series, and there is only one episode I haven't seen so far.

Yes! I've converted someone! There are a lot of episodes, 7 seasons I think. And they all get a lot better. Especially Maggie's character, Jules. At first I didn't like her, but now, she's one of my favorite characters

But Shawn is still the man.

    Aaah, I see. I see.

I have to wonder if Lucy herself will change. That's all up for debate, I suppose. She is a flexible character that is more a by-product of her situation than anything else.

Teehee--Akio's character, Amethyst, had a fear that pokespirit wielders would eat her, as she'd heard of cannibalism. He was really lacking on the inspiration too, so that's why I went out of my way to go ahead and post and try to make it interesting.

I'll be throwing some other little... situations at the group as they travel.

Alas, it's not completely your fault Machomuu. It is everyone's responsibility to entertain eachother, and I want to make sure your muse is stimulated.

If you want, we could discuss stuff, perhaps plan stuff. Anything that would help you out. As you've probably noticed the active users are a small number right now. This gives me the freedom to put much more effort into those that /are/ active without overextending myself

Regardless, unique?~ Oh now I'm tempted to ask you why, what's unique about her, and whether it's a good thing!

Hello, Machomuu--To start with, I'm here to let you know that we responded to your post. Poor Creed. xP I felt slightly evil writing it, but I guess that's part of the theme.

Regardless, it should make things interesting--

But how are you? Are you enjoying yourself, and the RP for that matter?

    It was a tad

Exactly my point, psychologically we overrate and underrate all the time, including in things we know nothing about.

The key is to read the key parts mostly. Skip the words that can be ignored (like the) and pick up the key points of the argument (like making flashcards for a speech)

About Me

  • About machomuu
You know, I had a list here of things that I like, but it just felt like I was filling space. Usually I don't even fill this area in, but what the heck. I like games, gaming is probably my favorite hobby...probably to an unhealthy level, but hey, it's good for the mind.

Anime and manga are a big thing for me, as well, partially because I don't watch television anymore. Nowadays, if I watch something, it's usually because I want to dedicate myself to it, so it's generally a matter of choosing what I want to watch, and anime really makes that easy. Problem is, if it's in Japanese, I have to give it 100% of my attention, and that's part of the reason that I'm trying to learn Japanese.

More than that, though, I've learned about Japan to the extent that I'm actually interested in it. This is mostly due to research projects and the like, as well as being the cause of some curious points I'd see in anime or general miscellany that needed clarification. The idea that there exists a place that exists both as a mish-mash of many different cultures while at the same time heavily influencing the mix with its own unique flare is pretty interesting, and seeing how that same place is both similar to and contrarily dissimilar to my homeland is just fascinating. It doesn't really have any bearing on my fight to learn Japanese, though; that's mostly for the sake of my hobbies.

Apart from that, I'm basically an average nerd. I have a desire to become a video game developer and am really interested in social sciences (Sociology, Philosophy, etc.) and the forces that influence them, such as Psychology. As strange as it may sound, learning how people work is just plain fascinating, and it may because I like analyzing the complex facets of the mundane so much that I take interest in it.

Then again, most of this is basically just things spilling out of my brain. If it sounds like I'm trying to sound smart, profound, things of that nature, or the opposite, be assured that I'm not trying at all. And, because of that, take everything you read here with a grain of salt, because it's all just spilling out of my brain with no filter or thought to what it says, and I don't really read this section enough to bother to edit most of its body. But it shouldn't really matter, if you get to know me or if you already do, you'll know how much of this is legit and vice versa.

...And I love Touhou Project. Inazuma Eleven and Osu!, too. All for different reasons, but I'd say how invested I am in the aforementioned is enough to be listed here.
