The updates can vary. Usually, the comic updates within 1-3 days, but on flash pages or particularly long updates (or if Andrew is busy), he takes about a week.

Not really... me and Laura went to California in June, but that was it.

It's a tragedy, really. I miss our cracky club.

Yeah, it gets even longer since the comic updates frequently. If you ever do have a chance to read, happy reading!

    Yeah still kickin'.

That's cool. Not sure, I'd ever want to travel to S. Africa given the state of things in that part of the world right now, but I think you'll enjoy yourself.

My summer? I'm in school. That's my summer. Enjoying it really. Lots of learning and soaking up what I can on Uncle Sam's dime while I can.

Yeah, there is a climax coming up, but I have no idea what's gonna happen. The tale has definitely taken a turn for the serious (though hilarity still ensues. )

It's been going on since April 13th, 2009, and I think it's almost 4000 pages long. It's a REALLY long read, but hopefully you'll enjoy it.

Yyyyup. Apparently it was to kick some life into the Manga forum, but it's still kinda static in terms of activity.

I suggest you check it out if you can dedicate a chunk of time to read it. Nearly everyone tends to get turned off by the beginning, where John is in his room, but imo it gets better when you get clicking. It's not really a quick read, as there are also chatlogs in some pages you have to read, because it is crucial to the plot. So that's why I recommend reading it if you don't have a lot to do on a lazy afternoon.

    it's fine~ It's fine~ *huggles*

It's a REALLY long adventure story, and lately, it's been getting pretty dramatic.. if you compare the first part of the story to the most recent part, you can tell it just got more serious.

Also, be aware that reading homestuck will take FOREVER. So should read it now while you are on vacation.

Yeeeeah it sucks. Ever since the Pokespe Club was closed, nearly everyone scattered around. I was hoping I'd see everyone in the Manga forum, but it doesn't get a lot of activity, unfortunately. I'm more active on LJ and Tumblr, so I really shouldn't talk lol.

'kay! Best of luck to you! Your summer sounds a lot more energetic than mine. And I hope you have a fun time in South Africa. Hopefully it won't be too awkward for you. Visiting family members from another country can be a bit of an experience. I know, I have relatives in Mexico. 6_9

My summer wasn't too eventful. I was supposed to go up to San Francisco to tour an art college I wanted to go to in a couple years (I'm planning to go to a community college for a couple years, then transfer cos it's cheaper apparently), but my family didn't have enough money to fund the extra stuff, so I had to cancel it. And there's also filling out apps for jobs plus getting a driver's license. Oh man, I'm so late for everything ever. At least I'm attempting to be productive. And I spent a great deal of time reading Homestuck.

Aah, at least I'm out of school. For a bit. I still have to find a job and stuff. ;3; Responsibilities, yanno.

Hang in there, man. /harsh kick of motivation

I know. It's an amazing animation. There are more amazing animations after that one. (there was a hilarious animation before this one, and it's still awesome. : it's this one: http://www.mspaintadventures.com/?s=6&p=003831 lol.)

They are, but the kids are lovable. :U
Later on, Trolls appear (at first, you think they are internet trolls, but you find out that they are REAL trolls)

Oh. and here are the main characters so that you know them:
John Egbert (the guy with bucked teeth and square glasses)
Rose Lalonde (girl with the head band)
Dave Strider (the cool kid with round sunglasses wearing a shirt with a broken record)
Jade Harley (the girl with long hair and bucked teeth)

    >w< thanks you. :3

The story is complicated, but you will like it. ALso, it has small games and awesome flash animations.
Here is one page with a flash animation: http://www.mspaintadventures.com/?s=6&p=002657

That's just one example. I wanted to show you a more awesome one...but it's a bit spoilerish. Unless you want to see it. :U
