Still around? I've caught some Dittos at Lv.10 (not sure how good they are for IVs mind) and could trade them for the two starters if you have them. Any luck (pun intended) on the Lucky Egg? No dice for me on the Exp. Share yet, but I have opened the path to Ecruteak and am holding back simply to do more training (just evolved Alakazam). I will soon enter the city and go for badge #4. And go east. And get the Red Gyarados. Then visit Mr. Pokémon. Then I can finally train easier.

Can Eggs be traded? I know if I hatch the Egg it gets my ID and I can level at will with complete obedience, but obviously I lose your Trainer ID on it for the Lottery Corner. My concern is whether Eggs will trade before the National Dex; if not, we have to hatch. Obviously if a Lucky Egg is attached we have to hatch at least one. Sounds like Chikorita will be the holder. :D A Totodile Egg will work fine, it doesn't have to be hatched (and I can fully boss it around then LMAO); with the Lucky Egg and the quick-switch strategy against a high-leveled opponent, I can level it up fast and then get it to fight its own battles earlier on. (Besides, I can always Ditto my own Chikorita from the traded one; I did find Ditto on Route 34 at Lv.10.)

Sure, go harass Chanseys. If you have a Pokémon with Thief it saves you catching every single one. Once you find one with it, defeat as normal and attach. :D I don't need Oval Stones, however; I know they only help that evolution line and it's useless until I can catch them myself. The Frisk ability also lets you see without using Thief, so you can just catch that Chansey and grab the item before sending it off. LMAO

Egg moves? Not a problem! BTW, do you happen to have a stray Exp. Share or Lucky Egg (which I know can only be found after the E4 on wild Chansey, I mean geez, why do that to players LMAO) hanging around that you can attach to them? If you only have one Exp. Share, don't worry about it unless you really don't play any longer, but I'd love to get one sooner than the one from Mr. Pokémon since it can be rather difficult to level Pokémon (I have nothing above Lv.19, which is where Quilava is, and some equal-leveled Pokémon are having problems on Route 34 in the grass against Rattatas), and I don't trust the Lottery Corner to help me out anytime soon...though having another Trainer ID in the mix could improve odds. The Lucky Egg, however, I can't foresee being a problem unless they are in fact rare even on Chanseys. (EDIT: I looked, 5% rate of being there.)

What do you want me to trade back for them? Just random catches? Or are they basically loaners and I should get breeding? I might have to be cautious since they will level up quicker.

I always start with Fire, so I have Cyndaquil. I just spent an hour or so at the game corner and got my Dratini yesterday, but the other two starters are the ones I really want; I'd have had no problem doing it myself if Platinum and HG/SS would trade with each other before the end-game. LMAO

If you're able to breed Eggs, that would work nicely as well; while the extra experience boost from trades is nice, I would hate to have them disobey me since I'm only at Goldenrod so far, so Eggs would be a better call I think. I actually backtracked to train all of my weaker Pokémon in the 29-31 corridor ATM, so depending how quickly you find your HG, I could train them in that corridor as well before moving on. (In Emerald, I am careful to minimize use of Seedot/Nuzleaf from the Rustboro trade for a Ralts for that very reason.)

I don't have a SS friend code yet as I have not been out at a Wifi spot since starting it, so I will have that as soon as I have it available.
