How about 'Your map needs work, here's what you should do. -List of suggestions-'?

You could've put it in nicer words instead of making someone wanna throw a child. No one wants to hear 'Oh crap, dude. Your map is pathetic.' You DID give constructive criticism, but you DID put it in one hell of a rude way.

Look, I don't hate you. I just think that you could have phrased your rating in a much more polite manner. You pointed out what you thought needed to be fixed which is good criticism but you neglected the other, and arguably more important, half of constructive criticism which is the way that you say it. Being rude does not help people improve; it only makes them feel bad about themselves and, from my experience, want to quit. I didn't want to post my "rating" because it was hypocritically rude but after seeing that you posted not one but two unnecessarily harsh ratings, I realized that you wouldn't learn your lesson until you felt what it was like to be on the receiving end.

It's ok. But, 1 question: Is there anywhere I could find a REALLY Dumbed-Down Tile Insertion tutorial? 'Cause I have a few ideas for tiles, as Wrath of Enigma has a map in the Arctic Circle... Sry for the closeness to the idea of ur middle maps, but this has been in my head for about 4 years...

Ok. Thanks. Btw, you don't have to worry about me being a tile thief, I don't understand any part of any tutorial on Tile Insertion... But I like the Red Pokémon Center Door... I get what ppl mean by square maps now, they meant where the player would be going, not just the size of the map, so Ima put a few obstacles in my next map... The Route 1 you put in the last VM will be put in Wrath of Enigma, after a few edits, and so will Itrave Forest after the same condition. Thx again

Its ok, I understand that, at a certain point, everything seems REALLY bad, and it's easy to think ppl are just pllain ignorant of standards. I did take your advice into thought, tho. But it doesn't seem to help...

Honestly, no disrespect intended, but I think you should be a bit kinder while posting. The way you respond to DSoL's maps is simply rude. No one wants to hear 'Oh crap, your map sucks.' You could put it nicely and offer suggestions for improvement. E.G. 'Hmm. Your map could use some work, try adding more/less flowers and make that path a little wider/thinner.' Etc. Etc. There's no need to be insanely rude.
