Hey I just came by to say that pokemon spirit chronicles looks amazing I mean I have never seen a game like that before. I wish you great luck on that project.

Hmph, to be blunt, that's what they all say. And the titles should be fitting and nothing else, so if your game was fundamentally concerned with war and conflict, then Crimson Version would be the single best option. However, if you really are chronicling spirits (that sounds so vague), then fly with it. Again, no plot, no informed judgment from my end. Good luck with your endeavours-(and apologies for prying)

By the way, fangames, in general, are poorly-named with the exception of ones approriately-named but not obviously (I can cite examples if you'd like). The best one in my book is Protectors. It's fitting and stands out in the crowd. Now, it's not all that original, but it also doesn't sound too Final Fantasy-esque, you know? If you wanna know one I don't like that tries to be the stand-out...Hall of Fame Version...yeah.

I'm not one to judge how appropriate it is considering I don't know your plot; however, there's two options. A)it fits the plot--so it's some epic tale of...let's not even go on. B)it doesn't fit and sounds cool...no thanks. There's plenty of commercial games with one of those two words in them (maybe even a perfect match) out there, so why not be original and try some new water?
I do not know what you're chronicling and how well you'll do it, but the name should change whatever the case is. While it's not a colour or a gemstone, it's no gem (know what I mean?). I'd give alternatives if I knew more, but I don't, so-

You guys really need to change that name. Relevant or not (don't know), it's horrible. Think about it from an unbiased point of view, and you'll see what I mean.
