And it isn't the only type of climate change that will occur. Which is the point. Whether or not it's the cause of the rest isn't the point.
And that statement is technically false as other things will also affect the climate, such as the thinning of the ozone layer. (Actually, if that happens enough all life will die. It's happened before and life had to nearly start all over)
But it is accurate and it is the commonly excepted term for it. Climate change just refers to a change in the climate and is often used to refer to things other then global warming. That's why it's politically neutral.
It seems like you didn't read what I said, or you didn't understand what I said.
I didn't say it wasn't accurate, I said people don't know what it really means so it's misleading. And since the Earth getting warmer isn't the only thing that will happen, that makes "climate change" even more acceptable according to you.
