Hey, machst du die Übersetzung vom SDSME? Ich finds nämlich komisch, dass dort zum Beispiel File statt Datei steht, oder schnell anstelle von Schließen

I think I know your problem. First of all, delete the folder where you have SDSME. Redownload the latest version (1.6.0) of the tool, and extract all the files included in the package, making sure you forget no dynamic library (.dll). Try running the tool, and if it doesn't work, try rebooting your PC. If still no results, try reinstalling the .NET Framework and make sure it's v4 or later. This should make it work, and if it doesn't, then there's something wrong going on your PC. Maybe a conflict with OpenGL or something (the tool uses it for the 3D renderers).

FYI, I didn't get this reply on my page so I wasn't aware of it (notice when you click "View Conversation" your reply isn't there).

Here's the question I have: is it possible to copy and paste? If not, this would make things tricky. It's a lot easier for me to make translation errors this way since I don't know German. At that point it becomes give me the scripts, I translate, then I enter the new ones. If copy and paste IS possible, on the other hand, it'd probably be fine. Either way, I'd have to learn about these tools.

Gladly! Id the secound Beta released than I can give you the Rom but I can't oppen all Scripts an send the Text this is too much. But i can youre send the secound Beta and you Translate with XSE. I Hope you agreed.

If you were to send me every single script as you set them to appear in the game, I can provide translations care of Google Translate. I don't speak German (though I am German in ancestry, I know exactly three words: "yaa","nine", and "gesundheit"), but I am usually good at interpreting Google Translation results and rewriting as necessary to make sense (see my post in response to the German post). As long as I don't destroy what is meant, it may work out.

It may not hurt to number them. i.e. #1, #4, #39, etc. Thus, I can keep the numbering with the translations and you thus know where each goes. If you know some English, that helps with placing the new scripting as well.

I just think it'd be a shame to release something that's already getting much good attention in a language other than English. A German version is still fine, but English is the universal language after all.
