Tip about this, but don't post rough drafts. What you want to present to a reader is a representation of your skill at its best, not something you know is crap or needs improvement. (It says to a reviewer that you're not putting much effort into the fic. Whether or not this is true is another story, but either way, it causes them to think they might not want to leave a review because it wouldn't matter whether or not you get them. As in, if you don't show a reviewer that you're putting all your effort into making this as good as you can get it, the reviewers don't see a point in telling you what's wrong with it because they think you're not working on it anyway.) If you need someone to bounce ideas off of or to go over your work, that's what beta readers are for.

Also, you'll really want to avoid saying "I'm not taking action until I get more replies." That doesn't look attractive to the kinds of reviewers you probably want to get because experienced reviewers will look at that and think you're not worth their time. After all, it's like saying you may or may not listen to what they have to say until after you get more people to comment, and on top of that, it says to them that you're begging for reviews.

Not to be overly harsh or anything, but these sorts of things just don't look good to reviewers.

On that note, I'll take a closer look at your story when I've got a chance. I just didn't want to derail the topic with all this.
