Unf, that sounds so interesting. >: OCR (our exam board) were just interested in HOI DOI HOW MUCH DO YOU REMEMBER LOLZ and most of my History exams I finished in under an hour. >: The teachers were always surprised when I got an A and added in extra stuff that wasn't supposed to be memorised, because I had nothing better to do lol.

I think it's unfortunate that the majority of history exams are just memorising names and dates. -.- My A-Level History exam was basically "memorise the timetable of Mussolini's take-over of Italy", which was dullllll.

Hahaha, I'm there with you bro. I'm a Pacifist through and through and have been for a looong time.

My Greek theatre knowledge is limited to my first year at university, where we studied the Oresteia and the Three Theban Plays (which I vastly preferred...). It's so cool to look a culture so radically different from our own.

That's awesome! =] I do actually have a bunch of books around here somewhere on Ancient Greece for when I take my MA with the Open University...I want to do it on early Greek theatre, but I don't know anything about the ancient world so I thought I'd better learn.

My Dad is a big history geek so I've just grown up thinking History was cool. =] Although I'm more a sucker for twentieth century history, especially women's rights and how the world wars changed Europe, etc.

I was just reading from your profile that you do a lot of historical stuff, but that people might find you boring for it. Hence the 'nothing boring about history bro' comment. :3
