I believe you would via this procedure; you accept the trade for Porygon2 and it registers the Porygon2 information, then it evolves. If you'd like, I can check this against some older trades I was part of and ensure my own Pokédex is complete with entries. If I can find any that is. Nonetheless, I can verify this while attaching the Dubious Disc and alert you via VM here mid-trade if it doesn't do it, so we can have a Plan B ready.

Exactly, because it evolves after trade and I still wouldn't have the data for Porygon-Z, so it would need to be traded back again so I can acquire that. After that, if you were to want Porygon-Z back, that can be done, but I want to breed some Porygon before doing so at least.

You still need Zorua? I have them with several level-up moves already known (I promise, not hacked, just very dedicated to my breeding) and am offering them for trade. Night Daze is among the moves known at birth (the signature move).

From your offer list, I already have virtually everything - that is, except for Rhyhorn, Porygon (chain), and Ampharos (I have Flaffy in Soul Silver and soon Ampharos there). I have been trying to arrange a trading setup to trade a Porygon around to evolve it immediately; I have Dubious Discs and Up Grades. Would you be able to trade it with at least an Up Grade attached, I exit the room briefly, then return and send it back with a Dubious Disc for something (Rhyhorn mayhaps), and we can discuss a second to get Porygon-Z back to me? Alternatively, I can trade it back with the Dubious Disc and you can send me the Shiny one if you want...but that's your call if there's nothing else you need.
