HotM is based on people voting for it. People can vote without knowing the gameplay, as they are so impressed by the work put into it from what they see in screenshots.
Understandable, but most hacks that reach that "good" status aren't released as they want to keep adding and adding and never find a good place to, or want to get maximum user satisfaction. So, it is all for your benefit.
You do know why there aren't links sometimes? Because the creator hasn't done enough for them to make a link, either literally or in their eyes. Betas are preplanned to be perfect for you to play, not on demand. Take the hackers thoughts and wants into consideration, as your demanding isn't very polite. The hacker needs to perfect a beta, get to the ideal point, add what they want to add, and test it all before release. And they have lives, y'know.
