i kinda think it would be, but then again people speaking other languages always get a little bit of a distrusting view from people who cant speak that language :(

They were mostly talking about how cute the kids were and that they'd totally wear what that person was wearing and that haha. Just idle chatter.

Haha well that's the case with any language you don't speak. Like I was in an airport recently and two ladies were talking to each other in Spanish and my friend who speaks Spanish was laughing and told me they were just commenting on everyone that walked past. xD

I don't know how many actually give you a proper feel for the country but there's certainly things that can be learned and people who have been inspired to learn more about the country and culture from what they watch. :D

It'd be fun! I love watching things in other languages; it helps me get a feel for the inflections and flow of that language. But ofc it's gotta be subtitled in English so I can get the gist of it.

I find that's the case if you know them in English a lot better than in Japanese- if you mostly know them in Japanese (like I did with Unova) or ended up about half-half (like I am with XY), it's easier to get a feel for them through the original. Idk it's all individual really.

Ohh, I getcha. For me I don't have much of a problem with that if the subbers are good and the timing is good. Like, when PM subs Pokémon I can pay attention to both easily. But when i was watching Code Lyoko in French, ugh. Everything was off and I just couldn't keep with it.
