    There is a way to do what you want to do without fadescreen if you don't want to change how the script acts

    I saw your video. I thought I'd seen it all, but that problem is definitely weird, it's kind of cool.

    Have you tried a different emulator? Maybe it is the problem, since your commands are correct. One time for me, the command "waitspecial" worked in No$GBA, but froze VBA. Different emulators read some data differently.

    If that is the problem, it's with the emulator's reaction to fadescreen, since it causes a graphic glitch. Notice how the Groudon has those black lines crossing over it after the fadescreen? That happens on some emulators to hacked GB games. Something about constantly refreshing graphics but I forget and it's irrelevant .
