Making an AI is certainly an interesting challenge. That "learning" part sounds fascinating, and I'd like to know how your friend intends to do something like that (as a concept, not the literal code).

How are you doing the Maps sizes? Sliced? For example the bottom part of Route 1 on one map and the top part on another or a whole map for each map file?
