    You can always add the "Your name?" double line into your translation file in anticipation of it being useful in the next version. It won't cause problems if it's unused.

    Don't worry, I'm not forcing myself to do anything. I'm more focussing on being a mod here anyway.

    Here's how to change the name length limit, then (as far as I know):

    In Compiler, search for the phrase is greater than 10 characters and change the number at the end of that line. In PokemonUtilities, find def def pbNickname and change the number there. The same goes for PokeBattle_ActualScene def pbNameEntry, PokemonParty the line involving pbEnterText, PokemonStorage the line involving pbEnterText, PokemonShadowPokemon the line involving pbEnterText, and PokemonDayCare def pbHatch. Oh, and whichever Name Rater NPCs you have.

    I didn't realise that message wasn't translatable. I've fixed that for the next version, whenever that'll come out.

    It's possible, yes, and fairly easily too. However, long names won't fit into various spaces where names go (such as in the party screen or in battle), which is why I haven't already increased the limit.
