    You know, those... little toys with all the fancy accessories that seems kinda pointless?

    There is that 'Speed shot' 'Power shot' or whatever that fires colored balls that looks like a mix of marble and the plastic balls from a child's ball pit.

    Ah! B-D Man! there we go! Or something like that.

    Smudge can make things really good actually :D
    I know plenty of people that have DA just for favouriting and discussing.

    But I think gradients are best used when they're unnoticeable. They do still make a difference, making the picture less radiant and more life-like. But without a magnifying glass you can't make them out in some cases :P

    I do use blur a lot to create "gradients" though :P
    But yeah, clean art is the best.
