Yeah, NSE 2.x rocks, right? Also, what do you mean by a '?' Fakemon? If you plan to insert a Fakemon, you should use unLZ-GBA instead. Make sure you got the Fakemon's backsprite & icons too. Happy Hacking.

Thnx for the compliment. After getting used to scripts, we should switch to XSE, cause it's more for advance hackers. Also, I've tried Overworld Editor by HackMew before. I prefer to use Nameless Sprite Editor (NSE) though. It's better in the sense it also has downloadable plug-ins. Go to the Toolbox thread & go to the NSE (Classic) thread to learn more about it. I'm currently using NSE 2.X. Gotta download the latest net framework & install it first before using NSE 2.X.

    All the best.

Yeah, patches (ips, ups, aps, cps) are patched with patching tools. Most common patches are IPS patches, that are patched with Lunar IPS. First of all, wait, I think I'll take this to PM rather than a long-story-short explanation with VM. See ya.

Oh, I also have HGSS sprites. I'll PM you to them when I'm free. Gotta do homework now. See ya.

Dear ForeverYoung, a ROM Base (patch) is sorta like a pre-made map for you to insert into a ROM if you're lazy to create your own map. Patches will have different bases like some are for FR, some for RSE. You must have Lunar IPS & apply it to the clean ROM. You may get some at the 'ROM hacking Resources Thread'. You may also ask Dragon for further info.

Hey ForeverYoung, why not start with a ROM base (patch) first? That will help you to learn the basics of hacking & best of all, if it's used, people will have to credit YOU. I'm now focusing on creating one. See ya.

Yeah, like sprites, tools, music & cries, backgrounds, tiles etc...... I'm using the PKSV+GUI that I got from our mentor. You may ask m\him for that too. I also recommend it because it has a built-in SCRIPT GENERATOR!!! Handy for newbie hackers.

Hey there, ForeverYoung. Are you making any work with your hack? I haven't even started. Just collecting resources in the meantime. I can give you any resources you want too. Just VM/PM me & I'll PM you the links. All 'da best.
