Just keep resetting. Persistence is key

Ferroseed's stats are alright. You may have to try again for Turtwig, since any one of its IVs could end up being the offspring Ferroseed's IVs. You wouldn't want the wrong IV to end up on the wrong stat.

Just do a do-over. This time, keep track of the EVs that Turtwig gets.

It's actually a better idea to check IVs with the Battle Institute because you don't autosave before doing a Battle Subway challenge; the Battle Institute doesn't save before you do a challenge there.

And remember: persistence is key when you're breeding. If you don't succeed, try try again. Check Turtwig's IVs. If not, use another Turtwig

No, no need. While the offspring's IVs depend on the parents' IVs, not all of them will get passed down. 1 IV will be passed down from the father, another will be passed down from the mother and a random IV will be passed down from either parent. The other 3 IVs will be randomly generated. Just keep at it.

Yeah...no. Attack and HP still have to fit the specifications.

No specific levels here, but a Pokemon can only have up to 510 EVs at one time. This means that a Pokemon can have 255 EVs in 2 stats each, but people stick with 252 EVs in one stat because a stat goes up by 1 point at level 100 every 4 EVs. There are some cases when 252 EVs in a stat isn't necessary, however.

If you're still not sure, read this

No. You have to keep track of them on your own.

It's actually better if you did EV train. I thought you didn't.

But seriously, re-breed Ferroseed. Check the IVs before you EV train.
