Well, actually, essentails can be a full game now, Maruno has put all the features for it to be somewhat a full game, if you see it that way.
But either way, ROM hacking a fire red ROM and using essentails are almost the same thing.
Only when you make your own engine can you really say what you did.

Also, people do call my game a hack, when people actually reply to me, I just tend to ignore them.

They use ROM hacking and use a ROM as a base for the Pokémon Game.
We use Essentails as a base, as in not from the beginning.

That has to be a complete coincidence xD Don't worry about copyright or anything. I actually thought I made up the name for my game xD but it looks as if two people had the same name idea. I don't think Apex or Apexin is real is it? But I never saw your reply. Has to be a coincidence xD

I am starting a project called "Pokémon Apex Version" on RPGXP which is an original game, not a hack.

I like Pokémon quite a bit, although I'm not a raging fanboy.

I am really interested in RPG Maker because it's really easy to use and relatively cheap.
