No and yes! I'm going to see Iron Man this Sunday. Gettin' the whole crew together to see it. :3 It's funny you mention that too, cause I'm actually a big fan of the IM movies over the comic. Like, the comic touches on some really great themes.. but Robert Downey Jr. *is* actually a recovering addict, so I think he lends a lot to the character that the comic Tony Stark just doesn't capture in it's entirety. Weird, right? :p

And I am hitting the shop so hard today. There's a lot of really great Walking Dead stuff dropping, so I'm all up in that. And actually (I'll have to look it up, because I don't remember what it's called) but I recently picked up a book of super old-school Japanese comics (like... the kind that includes a 21st century disclaimer because they're *that* old and super racist) but it's real early Japanese/Western style art. I think you'd like it a lot (not the racism, but you know what I mean :p)

I'm mad at Disney right now. :(

Glad you're actually getting somewhere with the game dev stuff though! It must be nice to actually do some work of substance. Not that theorizing doesn't have its own rewards.. but it sounds like you're having a good time working towards a more palpable, obtainable goal.

I have absolutely no confidence in getting a perfect on remix 10. Getting a superb was a challenge on its own. I personally think it's by far the hardest remix of the series, which kinda proves that Fever is the hardest in the series all things considered. Or maybe it's just because of Night Walk, but I mess up before that. (If I somehow manged through shrimp shuffle, then it's anything after the widget one.)

My problem with remix 8 was Exhibition Match. It's one of my favorites on its own, but counting the cues fast enough was jarring and I'm still not used to it, so I ALWAYS mess up on it because even after I get the timing I mess up from the excitement. I learned to just observe the pitcher's footing to help my timing and it did wonders, but then I started failing Double Date. If that's its revenge for calling it the easiest game in the series then I made a terrible mistake. (and after seeing my young cousins manage on the fork lifter better I don't stand by that anymore.) Regardless Remix 8 is still my favorite of the whole game, if not the series. (DS remix 4 is a close second.) I guess I like the song a lot.

You and me both. I hate people like that. The one I prefer usually if not always tends to be the first one I hear (or the first one I'm used to.) So in the case of Fever, I prefer remix 9 and ringside in japanese while the rest in english. The DS game, for all the hate it gets for it's dubbing, I actually completely prefer the english version. (I personally find That's Paradise and Young Rock n Roll better in english, and not just because I'm just used to it.) Rhythm Tengoku is obviously 100% japanese. Speaking of which, I was wondering how they'd end up localizing that one seeing as they had plans to do. All things considered, Tengoku is the most japanese focused of the series, and things like Bon Odori just won't make sense in English. Maybe they could just translate the lyrics into romaji, but that game punishes you for following the lyrics anyway. Always mess up my timing trying to follow the hiragana. x_x

Don't you mean out of rhythm? :P I don't remember what games I have left that I still need to get a perfect on, but all I know I'm gonna have real troubles with Shrimp Shuffle, Remix 3, Remix 8, monkey Watch and Remix 10. Everything else I believe I'm fine with.

I used to see lots of complaints about Love Rap being too hard, but it didn't turn out too bad for me. If anything, I thought it was one of the easier ones out there. Love Rap 2 took me a while to get a medal on because you have to get certain parts exactly right (all the "all about you!" had to be right to get a superb, if I remember right) so perfecting it was a piece of cake...except for the first time. When I got the perfect chance I had the japanese soundtrack on which actually screwed up my timing for some reason (I managed to get far but eh), since I'm so used to the english version of Love Rap haha.

I left it there afterwards. I plan on getting all perfects on Rhythm Tengoku and the DS game first. These two games are easier to get perfects on for me for some reason, especially the DS game.

Good luck! I still have around 20 perfects to get or so. Trying to get all perfects in Rhythm Heaven is the best thing. (Helps that I had people watching and cheering on me for Fever, haha.)

I dread monkey watch though. It's the only one that I have no confidence in perfecting. :( It was the same for Tap Troupe until I got a perfect on my try to getting a superb. Remix 8 is gonna be hell as well, I've tried getting a perfect on that one even without the perfect chance and no luck.

Yeah that's the same with us! We only sorta.. got shown the 3D interface. I pretty much learned how to animate in 3D by myself and trial and error. I don't know how to model at all.. but I know basic rigging. You can get free rigs off of the 11secondclub's website to play around with in 3D~ But heck that's only if you want to try 3D right now :3 And yeah I totally get that you want to find what you love best and what you enjoy doing best :3
And it is true. My school taught me all about animation- from storyboard and character design.. to liveaction scriptwriting. No programming though.. just arts stuff ._. I couldn't do programming either!

So what do you want to be the most if you could choose anything? :333

Thanks for reminding me that I never made a microgame in DIY. I really need to get to it.

Both. I did 4 years of traditional animation at university, and I have almost 2 years of industry 3D animation under my belt now (I work in games.) Too busy to do a PC gallery tbh.. but would be nice if I could find the time! Perhaps when my PC is fixed up at home (photoshop likes to crash!)
