Well, no$gba debugger is the best and it is only $8 (I think). It is 1000% guaranteed to be your best rom hacking purchase if you stick with ASM.

You're welcome. I would look at it with some type of ASM debugger. Though, the good ones, are not free. I can't help you get those.

The table points directly to the routines for each special in order starting with special 0x0. It is pretty simple:p.

Ohh, wait, I found that a different way. Still using his hacked engine though

GF must have decided against the second script and gotten rid of it. OR you didn't hit the level script button in XSE.

I see, that sounds tough. You will need to get a lot better at ASM. I can tell you that JPAN found the table (i believe it is in his notes that came with the hacked engine v1.0) of all special routines. So, you wouldn't need ASM to find it, but to edit it, deffinately.

If you don't know ASM. You're done. Why do you want to anyway?

special 0x16D - Linking for Union Room.

    Map Script for Union Room
If anyone could help me figure out the point of each of these lines, that would be awesome.
There are 8 possible players in the union room. So, there are 8 sprites on the map that will be transformed into the respective players. This script permanently hides each one by setting the flag in their person ID and then hiding the sprite. The special loads the routine for the union which will unhide and transform these sprites into the players who join.
