there is definitely change in the air. autumn is coming to this hemisphere of our spherical spaceship, yes; deeper cycles are also coming around, i think.

Of the many dreams I recall having the night of Tues 10 Feb, one was lucid. In this dream, I tried twice to manipulate the scenery and died both times as a result. Died in the dream, that is; I'm not a zombie blogger guys don't panic.
I was on a farm, standing next to a red barn. There were those tube metal fences around, which formed several enclosures. In the area were a lot of chickens roaming around, a few hens but mostly roosters. As I saw them, I couldn't help but make clucking sounds....
Hey folks! Today, I'm gonna tell ya about OBEs!
What is an out-of-body experience? A myth? A hallucination? A journey of one's spirit through non-physical space? Well, as far as I can tell, there are more questions than answers. But before we get into the technical aspects, I'll do my best to describe what my OBEs this morning were like.

Our pastor at Broadway, Edgar Tanner, has been speaking about the traditional Advent things: Hope, Love, Joy, and Peace. But he's been expounding on what you might call the 'mature' or more complex versions of these. Namely: expectation, engagement, enthusiasm, and enjoyment. His most recent sermon - on peace - has proved especially poignant at this time in my life.
He's made a strong case that each of these things are closely correlated and indeed inseparable from their polar opposites....
