That's what the [spoiler][/spoiler] tags are for. Besides, you'll probably want the navigation in the first post because putting it after a long post (and before what will probably be a long list of posts) might cause the reader to accidentally skip over it.

No, there isn't. You can write as many words as you want, really. There's a
character limit (meaning letters, numbers, et cetera), but most people don't even come close to it. It's over twenty pages' worth of material, clocking in at fifty
thousand characters. You're fine if your chapter is only a few pages long; the added lists will most likely not even be five hundred characters once you're done. Trust me on all of this. I used to be known for doing things like
writing monster fics that actually hit the character limit. And even then, that example was two years ago, so I'm pretty sure they fixed that since.
