    I've played Pokemon a bit later than you have; probably about 7 years old or so. Ever since then I've been hooked onto the games and the anime until just about a year ago. The anime for me started to get repetitive, and as such the games is the only thing I could really enjoy to this day. Unfortunately however, I only play my Diamond when my mood allows it. I don't play it as often I used to, sadly.

    To be honest, I thought the same. When I looked at my playtime, I didn't really think too much of it, because I was too caught up in my training to actually pay attention to it. But the less I played, the more I actually payed attention to it. To this day, I'm still in somewhat disbelief that I managed to play a Pokemon game for this long.
