PokéCommunity Video Gaming Forum
Rules

Welcome to the Video Gaming forum, where you can talk about all your favorite video games that aren't Pokemon - from Mario to Metroid and Halo to Hexic.

General Rules Please remember that all the PokéCommunity Rules apply here in the Video Gaming forum.

Forum-Specific Rules
  • Game discussion is to remain civil at all times. Gamers can be a hotheaded bunch, with the console wars and company-loyal fanboys. Flaming, arguing, spamming or plain rudeness will not be tolerated at any time. If a discussion becomes too aggressive, the thread may be closed. A healthy debate is good, as long as it remains respectful. Any disrespectful posts will be deleted on sight.
  • This forum contains spoilers. Anytime you discuss a particular game, it's common-sense that there will be spoilers and plot details being dicussed. Just remember that you run the risk of having plot spoiled for you when you view threads in this forum. And if you post a spoiler, please at least use your own judgment as to when to use spoiler tags.
  • Event threads will be posted and stickied at the top of the forum. Don't make a thread just to set up online matches or share online info. We have an online information thread where you can share all your online information. If you want to set up matches, either do it through PMs, or feel free to do so in a game-specific thread (i.e. setting up a Black Ops match in the Call of Duty thread). If a game doesn't have a thread, feel free to make one - just make sure it's for actual discussion of the game rather than "Does anyone want to play a few rounds?"
  • We are not responsible for things that happen when you play online. There are always risks of online gaming, and PC is not responsible for anything that might happen while you're playing online with someone. In the event an unfair trade is made, your game is tampered with, or something else happens to your video game, it is not our responsibility to serve justice for you as you have accepted the risk of playing with whomever you shared your online information.
Gaming Event InformationOccasionally, the Video Gaming forum will host gaming events where we get a group of people together to play a specific game. In the past, such events have included Halo, Left 4 Dead, Call of Duty, Team Fortress 2, and many other popular games. Check the Gaming Events Schedule for a list of upcoming events. As the date gets closer, we will post a stickied thread where you can sign up for the event.

Here are some basic guidelines that cover ALL gaming events:
  • If you sign up, but do not participate in the event, you do not get an emblem.
  • If you disrupt a gaming event with unruly behavior or overall immaturity, you may be barred from participating in future events for a set amount of time.
  • Enjoy the events. They're meant to be fun, so don't take them too seriously. Please don't be overly competitive or talk down to the other players, or you may be barred from participating in future events for a set amount of time.
  • If you have a suggestion for an event, PM the moderator of this forum and we'll take your request into consideration.
If you have any questions or suggestions, please contact LGDArm, the moderator of this forum. Happy gaming!
