I want the E4 to be switchaholics like everyone in competetive battling. DOWN WITH FULL RESTORES..

That would be awesoem, becasue If u havent wifi battles u atleast have battled some one in-game that uses wifi straigies like switching constantly. So the noobs like me can have more wifi training.

Has anyone noticed that the First Gym Leader almost always specializes in a Rock type?

Not always. In the 2nd gen it was Faulkner (or whatever his name was) who specialized in Flying types which was pretty hard at that stage of the game.

I guess it does make sense to have 3/4 start with Rock as chances are you started with either the grass/water Pokemon, thus giving you an advantage.

no more rock or flying type gyms, PLEASE!

The first gym should be normal
Second: Bug
Third: Grass
Fourth: Ice
Fifth: Fire
Sixth: Steel
Seventh:Psychic

As for the E4:
1st: Water
2nd: Electric
3rd: Dark
4th: Flying
Champion: A mix!
