Well, I'm taking a break from writing fan-fiction now. The thing I like about writing poetry is that I don't have to plan it. It just flows onto the keyboard.
I guess my poem sounds 'emo'. I guess that's how I like to write. I guess I might be 'emo', but I really hate their fashion, as they dress like little girls. Ha. :(
Dark Ice Forever
Poetry comes from the soul,
poetry comes from the heart.
Have you seen the invisible shadow of the night?
Unclear to the naked eye, yet
deadly as a state of mind.
A full ivory moon shines over the cold night.
A moon full of light, yet
colder than the darkest of ice.
A frozen rock that floats,
in the sky full of stars.
Who said space is cold?
When fire balls fill the sky.
Poetry comes from wonder.
Poetry comes from us.
Maybe when we die,
we'll sleep in the dark space,
that lasts forever in our minds.
