"Battle for the Underground!" Review Thread
"Battle for the Underground!"
Air Date: 7th December 2011

Team Rocket—including that double-crosser Meowth—is making a getaway on the Ghost Train, a mysterious subway train roaring through Nimbasa City. Fortunately, Subway Bosses Ingo and Emmet have joined forces with Ash and the gang to chase them down! Can they catch up to the Ghost Train and rescue the stolen Pokémon before it’s too late?

I enjoyed this episode, it was certainly very well done. I didn't like how Meowth traveling with the gang abruptly ended so soon, as I was very much enjoying it.

Ingo and Emmet were awesome, I found it funny how they pronounced Eelektross to how I was, though that pronunciation does make a lot more sense. The Pokédex pronounced it two different ways which was weird, not that it matters though. I don't like the voice they did for Chandelure, way too generic for my liking, something more noisy and mystical would have been better.

We had a little Pokémon time too, I like how they did Pikachu's thoughts. Oh, and Tepig learning Flamethrower was great too.

Any reason why there was no new episode this week?

I Liked the episode but I witch they showed more of the Battle Subway like in the Manga and the Games you Can take the Single or the Double Train and Battle Ingo and emmet that Way not doing that Dum Stamp thing they did and I didn't like the Voice they gave emmet He like the Happy little Kid type in the Manga and the Game. But over all I liked the episode but one other this I wished they did was Show More of Ingo and emmet's Pokemon they have more then Just one.

In the Japanese version of the anime, they did have Kudari (Emmet) talk in a more casual, buddy-buddy, sometimes bordering on rude manner ( like in the manga... he's unintentionally rude, it seems ^^; ) and Nobori (Ingo) always spoke in an exceptionally polite and formal manner, also like in the games, but for some reason, the dub didn't carry that over and just made them both speak in a rather generic way with no quirks, it seems. ^^;;;

Kudari calls everyone "-kun," while Nobori calls everyone "-sama" to show great respect and makes the speaker sound very humble compared to the one he or she is speaking to. The latter is actually more appropriate to use when addressing patrons and customers, whereas "-kun"... isn't, really, and is only slightly less childish than calling everyone "-chan". xD;;

... so, yeah! o/
